I lived without a microwave for a while, I was constantly burning myself while using the oven for small quick things. I'm super clumsy in the morning... And the rest of the day LOL

You can cook a lot in a micro wave. I make a lot of burritos this way. Putting the ingredients inside the wrap and then zapping in a minute or two until the inside is hot. Some refried beans, cheese and salsa, super simple. If you have a rice cooker, you can make a big batch to last the week. Add some taco seasoning and…

I forgot to add that it's super easy to make. Sometimes I microwave the egg, then add it to the rest, takes only a few minutes

I eat a lot of dry cottage cheese. It's also called farmers cheese or quark in some countries. I eat it with eggs and salsa and roll in up in a big burrito (or two small ones) it's super easy and full of protein. 125 grams of the dry cottage cheese has 22 grams of protein and 110 calories. The big wraps I use have 180…

40 g of large oats, about the same amount of water, microwave in 1.5 minute intervals, add blueberries, cinnamon, a bit of stevia and then 1/8 to a quarter cup of some kind of milk. Keeps me full for a pretty long time. I find that oats don't make me crave more carbs, I'm satisfied by them.

Feel free to add me, mine is set at 1340ish.. I'll go over with activity and other times because I'm human hehe. I tried lower before and I couldn't do it!

I have AS (and probable PsA too since humira cleared up my psoriasis and my finger pain... But as long as I'm being treated I'm all good

I am an apple shape, or rectangle or inverted triangle! I've been this way my whole life. I keep most of my extra weight in my upper region and mainly tummy! Really hoping that losing a bit of weight and some strength training changes this a bit.

It's helped her tone up, she likes it because it's so quick and she can do it without having to go to the gym

So I'm doing the Beach Body Arms Butt Splits Extreme Squat challenges I can't hold 120 seconds in a plank today, I'm really looking forward to seeing my progress! Who else is doing, or has done this app?? My sister does it and really likes it.

Going grain free is the only way I can stop going on binges. I've never been very big (borderline overweight BMI at my largest) but I really believe I have a problem with most grains, especially wheat. They also give me a huge belly and the worst stomach cramps, gas and diarrhea even in what most would call moderation. My…

I take it for depression and anxiety and it has helped me a lot! I don't think it caused me to gain any weight. I have other medical conditions that caused that.

Awesome! At my highest weight I was about 147, now my CW is 134. I'm hoping to get to where you are this summer!

I really enjoy eating low carb, but I don't think I'm as low carb as a lot of people. It really suits my preferences. I found when I ate bread and grains I would eat and eat without being satisfied. Now, I find I don't need to eat as much even calorie wise and am much more satisfied .

I think I understand where you're coming from! I currently weigh 134, I'm 5'4 and I'd like to get to 118 too. Can I add you as a friend on here??

I have ankylosing spondylits and probably psoriatic arthritis too (the treatment is the same so as long as I'm getting treated I'm ok! Lol ). I need to stay active and limber as I can so I keep a good range of motion and being active helps with the pain. If anyone notices that their back pain goes away when they are…

You look so good, awesome really!!

I also have hashimotos and ankylosing spondylitis, two autoimmune diseases.

I eat gluten free. I rarely eat "gluten free" products because I try to eat lower carbs. So instead of a grain, I'll have some beans, or another filling, fibre filled carb. I haven't lost any weight in about a month, but I'm fitting a smaller size, so I must be doing something right! :)

I have hashimotos and gluten seems to really bother me. I eat it and I get terrible tummy pains, bloating and gas. It's so apparent that it does not agree with me, After eating it I'm a walking sour gas factory/skunk farm

Do any of these target the hips as well? Is there any way to build up the hip muscles?

Hi snickerscharlie! Fellow Canadian and I have AS too! I have it from my SI joints all the way up to my cervical spine. It can really be a pain in butt, and neck! Hahah. I also have arthritis in other parts, it all seems to travel together, doesn't it? I agree with others about going to a physical therapist. They deal with…

I've done yoga a bit, and now try to incorporate a lot of the stretches into a stretching routine. It's pretty amazing how hard some of the poses are! It's more workout than I first imagined! It's good too because it helps one focus and relax the mind, which when you have a chronic illness... Always seems to be going. It's…

I didn't realize how old this thread was! I'm 30 Height 5'4 HW 148 CW 138 LW 114 I don't know my BF and am still unsure about my GW, Once I get to the point where I'm really happy with my results, I'll be at my GW! Maybe around 118???

Hi Jennygarofolo, I have ankylosing spondylitis (an autoimmune arthritis that largely affects the spine, but for some of us it's also in our feet, hands, shoulders. Really anywhere with tendons) and hashimotos (autoimmune hypothyroid disease). Fatigue is my biggest problem for sure. Also exercising when I am already in…
