I"ve lost 88 lbs and my daughter's graduation is May 24th. I want to be able to say I lost 100 lbs by that date. Do you think it can be done?

You look great, good for you. Congrats

Thanks jp and adphillips, I needed the encouragement, especially after eating a piece of cake last night and having a pity party afterwards.

Hi, I do think it should be a separate group. I'm 55 years old. I started losing weight in December 2014 with 250 lbs to lose and joined here in March 2015. So far I have lost 89 lbs. and have 168 lbs. to go. I have been overweight my entire adult life but have only battled with it since January 2010 when I was diagnosed…

Great picture, thanking for showing it.

I haven't come as far as some of you but I wanted to add my picture here too so you can see that I am working hard at it too. You all are amazing, I can't get over the transformations -- Boy, I can't wait to post myself here at 150 lbs lost. Here goes where I am at now (89 lbs lost)

From planet earth but sometimes I feel like I'm from outer space. No one in my world seems to understand the blight of someone desperate to lose weight.

There's a chair in the church's conference room and the last time I was in there (1 year ago) I couldn't fit in it I had to go get another chair. Last night I went to a meeting and I sat in the chair and comfortably too!!

I lost 4 lbs this month. I'm not worry I'll catch up to our fantastic January weight loss winners or should I say losers. Congrats everyone!

I live in Maryland and we got about 2 feet of snow, hasn't been this bad since 2010, but we managed through praise God. Now for the thawing and it is suppose to freeze tonight so, oh joy, we are going to have to deal with ice tomorrow. Please Lord just don't let me fall.

I'm reading this book called Experience God by Henry and Richard Blackaby and Claude King.

Okay you gained 2 lbs, we all have those times -- just stay the course, in the next few weeks you could lose double the weight. Slow and steady, just stay on your journey. Even if you have a day, or a weekend or even a week where you don't do as well, never lose your focus, get back in there. We are doing this for us, for…

I know what you mean tjames -- I've just given up carbs for the rest of the month because although I am staying within my calorie count my weight loss this month is slower than other months so for the next 12 days no carbs and no sugar for me.
-
WOW, you people are doing just beautifully -- a 15 lb. loss in 18 days is tremendous, but a 2 lb. loss in 18 days is great too. We are all losing here -- this month you may lose a little and next month you may lose a lot. Yeah us!! I love reading how we are all encouraging each other. I am really liking this board. Thanks…

Never use the word "only" -- 3 lbs is a HUGE loss -- how would you like to gain 3 lbs. Celebrate it -- YEAH, YOU LOSS 3 LBS. I lost 2 lbs in 2 weeks. Yeah me!!

I'm just using MFP -- I have not joined another program. I was thinking about joining an exercise club but that is just in the thinking process because I just don't know how committed I'm going to be. I have a tendency of wanting to go straight home after work. Then I was thinking about buying this fitbit I keep hearing…

I see this challenge is going to rear up my competitive nature. Okay, this is going to be really challenging, you people aren't playing. I was taking it slow at the beginning. I know I've lost weight, but now I know I have to step up my game and add some exercises. You guys aren't leaving me in the dust.

Still on the road of success -- I weigh in twice monthly, next weigh in date is January 14th. Congratulation to everyone who has lost weight. I'll let you know my weight loss on Thursday evening.
-
Wonderful, absolutely wonderful!!
-
I am so pleased that you share your story with us, you look amazing.

I weigh myself twice a month and that is it. The scale felt like pressure last year so I made the scale unimportant and made me becoming healthy more important and it worked for me
