156.7 today. Which means I am up 1.4 since this thread started. I have been going uo and down, but never below my CW at that time. I am reminding myself that this is a process and I have still done a really good job. I have been back on track with my eating and walking for a weekk now, so the numbers will drop if I remain…

Oh, this neck of mine! I was blow-drying my hair the other day and the dryer passed by my throat and the force of the air made it look like I was in a wind tunnel! My face still looks OK in my opinion, but wrinkles will come no matter what. I will take a rooster neck over 3 chins any day!

Hey, yinz guys! Happy weigh-in day! Let's see those numbers, good bad and ugly! SW: 202 CW: 156.8 GW:149 I lost almost 2 lbs last week. Feels good to see the scale going down again after my big gain the week before.

@LyndaBSS , I thought that the app would automatically adjust calories when you hit certain levels? As long as you are entering your weight regularly? I have not been doing this on MFP for very long, but I guess I was hoping that was true?

@charbabe7602 , walking is the only exercise I do. Losing weight is 80% calorie reduction and 20% exercise, so if you reduce your calories, you should lose. I walk for a strong heart and to manage chronic pain. I walk 2 miles per day - nothing major, but it does give me stamina to do other things.

@purple4sure05 thanks for the update! I was about to post my tips, and read that you already made it thru your event! (I don't think I was going to advise "eat fried food" though, so you wouldn't have needed my advice, anyway!)

@KnitsWhoSayNee if you are eating all of the calories you burn, you will not lose. You need a calorie deficit of 500 per day to lose 1lb. per week. You can eat 500 less, burn 500 more, or a combination of the two. With MFP, I just make sure that my "Remaining" calories say 500 - that way, I know that I am on track to lose.…
