I have tried many a diet over the years and to no avail. It is getting me down far too much and I feel I need to take charge of my life again. I did it 10 years ago, I can do it again (hopefully!)
Weakness: Sugar (obviously). All kind of sugary treats. Not helped by the fact that I make occasion cakes for my friends
Strength: Well honestly, it used to be my motivation, but the proof is quite literally in the pudding! Buried way down deep in the pudding with 51lbs of pudding on top
I struggle with not really having the right support around me, so I am turning to the wondrous MFP in the hopes that I will find the right kind of people to keep me on the straight and narrow!

If you haven't already, read the stickies at the top of the getting started forum. Very informative and helpful.
Buy a food scale. Weigh everything you eat and log into the food diary.

Hey, happy to be your friend on this journey. I have a major sweet tooth and am absolutely not helped by having deserts around me pretty much all the time. I work weddings and other events, there's almost always some sort of sweet treat left over to taunt me.1
