  • I feel a bit sad for the people who have so little trust between them that they can't have friends on here of the opposite sex. my partner would never check my mfp, or think there was any reason for me to have only female friends because he trusts me. I have earned that trust through 7 years of fidelity. I'm on here to…
  • when i had a stupid amount of takeaways in one week and felt constantly sick, bloated and disgusting. Something changed and i havent looked back. I dont want the unhealthy food anymore, and when i have had it, it makes me feel ill and i cant wait to get back on track. im down 23lbs so far and feel better than i have in…
  • i would agree, mostly. I was shocked at how easy it has been to lose weight once you get the process down. Changing bad habits was tricky, sorting out my emotional issues surrounding food was tricky, eating less and exercising was easy! There are easy bits and difficult bits. I think the reason i waited so long was because…
  • Start weight 176 Current weight 155 not at goal yet, but this is two months in.
  • i've lost 18lb so far and feel 100% committed. I am going through a break-up and dont have any desire to binge or wreck my diet. i am doing this because its what i want and that feels good.
  • i have found exercise really helpful. walking/running and swimming are making me feel better. Having my diet under control helps too, but its mainly the feel good factor of the exercise.
  • turkey bolognaise with spaghetti and tons of salad on the side.
  • I will add you, it's nice to have friends on the same journey :)
  • Not too bad. Pitta with cheese and ham. Probably should have had some veg in there but I was in a hurry. Not too bad calorie wise, it will do. What was yours?
  • If I need to have a high protein meal, I usually make a chicken salad and have a soft boiled egg on top. Salad will be made up of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, radishes, spring onions etc with low fat dressing, plus avacado if I can fit it in my calories. Then grilled/baked chicken breast and the boiled egg. Yum.
  • Its weird isn't it, even at my biggest of around 180lbs I have never suffered with chafing. I don't have a thigh gap, and no sign of one developing yet through weight loss, but it's just never been an issue for me.
  • i have found that eating more protein helps, but also filling up on veggies which are lower in calories than most foods. i have a big appetite and feel a bit cheated by a small meal, so a smaller amount of high calorie foods, with tons of veggies works for me. i have found as i progress on the weightloss that my desire to…
  • Ok, from the sighing im guessing general consensus is that isn't a good plan?
  • Sorry I missed this post, thank you I will have a look!
  • Thank you, I'm not too fussed about the stretch marks. They have faded to silvery lines and can't be seen unless you are up close. I moisturize everyday. I just wanted to generally improve the look of my arms in other ways as I have come to terms with the fact that the stretch marks aren't going to get much better really.…
  • Right I think the plan will be, start the lifting at home using the toddler as well as trying the exercises pelamblue suggested and then move on to barbells/dumbells as I already have them. Then once I have more free time I can go to the gym and try and do it properly with a proper routine. I'm not sure if you are trying…
  • Rabbit. That is pure and utter genius. The video is fantastic!!
  • Thank you very much for this clear and idiot proof advice. It's very helpful thank you.
  • Sorry, had to take my little girl to her hospital appointment. Thank you so much for the advice. Is there any chance I would be able to do this at home with a simple set of weights? My oh has some. I am just very limited on chances to get out to the fitness centre as I have a toddler to look after. I wouldn't want to give…
  • Could you hardboil eggs the night before? This is what I do, then I can eat them with no prep in the morning.
  • I just looked at your diary and on some days you are eating around 900 calories! That is so dangerous! You need to increase your calories asap.
  • If this is for real... Yes. What was your start weight? how many calories are you eating in a day? This is very dangerous imo. you should see a doctor.
  • I have had this before. it hurts! I worked for a bank for a few years and the uniform was awfully unflattering. I was asked twice in two weeks. One was by an old lady who got quite cross at me when I said I wasn't! Apparently she was only going to wish me well, I didn't have to embarrass her...? Erm ok then.
  • Oh and just to say, I highly doubt anyone would think anything negative about seeing you. If I see others running, no matter what size or shape they are, I just want to cheer them on for doing something so fab!
  • Is there somewhere Near you that you could go and give it a try where there aren't too many people? I'm really lucky that there is path around a nature reserve by me that you probably see one or two people on a busy day. its perfect for me as I don't have to worry what anyone thinks. I haven't quite got the confidence to…
  • Mystery solved, thank you very much!!
  • Thank you, I feel a bit daft for thinking that if I scanned it in then it would be right! I usually check that just the calorie number is right, I didn't think to check the rest. Thanks so much.
  • Sorry I missed your reply. I was worrying about it because I haven't got a clue what I'm doing and didn't know it wasn't important. I won't worry any more!
  • Thanks, the last week was a bit off as I haven't been feeling well. This is the first day I have been eating more calories. Can you see what went wrong today?
