Apparently I am also over on carbs though. Confusing!

By the way I'm going to have some nutella on toast, so I'm taking your advice and not panicking about the macros, I'm just wondering what's going on with it really now!

This is what it's showing me?
-
I have scanned everything in and it is all things I have eaten before with no issues.

Thanks, could you explain to me why I have gone over on the macros when I haven't met my calorie goals? Is the food I am eating too high in protein and not enough calories? I'm reallly trying to juggle it around so I feel well and eat enough but I feel like I am choosing the wrong foods. My diary is open if anyone could…

Wow you look like a different person! Well done!!

Salad dressing is easy! Try Balsamic vinegar and olive oil or Vinegar, olive oil, honey + mustard. Dont add any salt if you are watching your sodium levels

I'm in the UK so sorry if this is a silly question, but please can someone tell me what on earth 'flap meat' is? It sounds awful!

Turkey Bolognese is good. Do what you would with Ground beef.

garbage is a good word for it!

you are right sorry i had it set to sedentary. I think when i started i thought to myself that i am not as active as a salesman/teacher. Perhaps i have underestimated the amount of cals i burn running around after my toddler. It is now telling me to eat 1600. I completely agree, i want to change long term, and be…

i put in 2lbs at first, i didnt realise how extreme that was, im new at this. i have changed it to 1lb now, and mfp is giving me a calorie goal of 1370
-
I am in no real hurry to lose this weight now, i just want to feel better. its really upsetting me that i dont have the energy to run around with my little girl. mfp seems to think that i use 1880cals in a day, so 1200 would be a 680 deficit. If i eat 1750 i would barely lose though would i?

i have been eating back around half of my exercise cals.
-
lightly active, i have a toddler so im on the go quite a bit, i walk or swim for exercise most days usually. Im supposed to be swimming tonight but just dont feel well enough.
-
hi i started off with 40lbs to lose, have lost 15 so far, so 25 to go to get to a goal weight of 126. i'll add you

I have actually found that eating my calories in that sort of order works really well for me. I started off with small breakfast, medium lunch, big dinner, but felt weak through the day and then struggled to eat enough in the evening to hit my calorie goal. I feel much better when eating a big breakfast, medium lunch and…

green tea, its good for me and gives me a bit of a boost in the afternoon when i start to feel sluggish. otherwise i just drink water. I used to hate it but have learned to enjoy it. The colder the better.

Only 1000 cals a day?? Do you mean plus eating back your exercise cals? If not that sounds frankly quite dangerous!

I absolutely love that pic rabbitjb. She is a real, healthy woman in fantastic shape for her age.

I would like to see a range of women within a healthy bmi, not just at the lowest end and underweight fashion models. I would also like to see less airbrushing. just real women, what they really look like. not with their waists and thighs made smaller, not with every slight imperfection removed etc. I couldn't say exactly…

I'm not saying there isn't a separate issue that also needs tackling, I am just speaking of my own experiences as a woman and my view on the issues women face. I do think that viagra is different though. Many men want a happy sex life, but suffer with ed. It is good that viagra is available. There is nothing medically…

Why does that make it ok? Do you not see if things like this are not challenged, the problem continues, more women are made to feel like crap, vulnerable teen girls are fed this crap and it damages their confidence etc etc etc... I'm not naming names as its not fair, but I was contacted on here by a 15 year old girl. She…

I live in the UK and every day it goes above 20 degrees Celsius you will see larger men shirtless, letting it all hang out, no-one blinks an eye. now if a larger woman walked around in a bikini there would be a very different reaction. I am not saying they should have had two advertising campaigns, they should have had…

To me, this is similar to 'I have black friends, therefore I couldn't possibly be racist', when someone is called out on unacceptable behaviour. Just because they have a large customer base of women, doesn't excuse them from portraying this image of what a woman 'should' look like. It's sexist because it once again sets a…

Also (sorry I'll stop ranting in a minute) the fact that they are pushing these bloody slimming rip offs at the same time drives me mad. It keys into a woman's insecurities and offers a quick fix (that we all know won't bloody work) as the solution. Not good.

I am not usually one to agree with the raging feminists, but this one does annoy me. It's the implication that unless you look like this, you are not 'beach ready', and shouldn't be seen in a bikini etc. It doesn't just affect overweight women, but slim women who don't have the perfect airbrushed body portrayed here. Why…

Ugh I gain around 5lbs leading up to and during. It's nice when it drops off plus more afterwards though! I still weigh, not sure why.
-
The easiest way is to simply reduce the amount of calories you are eating. If you eat less than you use you will lose weight. Let mfp work it out for you. If it helps. I have lost 15lbs so far and now really enjoy exercise. I hated it before, but it's a lot easier now I'm not as heavy.

I think you would do well to focus on yourself and ignore the way others go about it. I agree with you, but I can't get worked up about it. I'm doing this the way I feel is right for me, eating right and exercising, but it's not really any of my business how anyone else goes about it. At the end of the day, you are happy…
