Why do you need to drop carbs? It doesn't sound like you are eating too many to me. Try Brown rice and pasta for a slower release of energy. If you want more protein add meat, fish, beans, Greek yoghurt that sort of thing.

I ate three takeaways in one week and didnt even enjoy them. I felt gross from all the fatty salty food and felt quite ashamed really. I hated what I saw in the mirror and hated feeling so unhealthy. something had to change.

Same here. I have been peeing like mad for the last few days, no change in my water input, and have lost two lbs in two days after not losing for a week before that.

I hate to tell you but if you are logging accurately then you are eating back your deficit on your cheat day. It is negating all your hard work :(

I eat an egg based breakfast most days. It doesn't seem to be doing me any harm! they keep me full until lunch and stop me snacking on crappy foods.

I was fed up of not looking good in any clothes. I would look longingly at gorgeous dresses etc, but know that i couldnt wear them because i was too fat. 1 stone down, a bit more to go, but already i look better in clothes than i have in a long time.

i eat really good quality dark chocolate pretty much every day. i weigh out 20g and that is around 105 cals. I fit it into my calories because i really enjoy it and it makes me feel less 'hard done by' about eating less.

i was actually over the moon when i realised this! I thought losing weight was this complicated, unobtainable thing that i would never succeed at. now i understand it and am enjoying the process. I have always been a bit of a control freak though, so i quite like how its all in my hands.

I try to stay away from caffeine, so thanks for this advice. I have one coffee in the morning to help with the baby induced sleep deprivation, but any more than that and i get all jittery.

I think my OH is on their mailing list actually, i will ask and see if he has had any codes. He knows his stuff about gaining, but has never had to try to lose weight.

sorry i didnt see your reply iron, a reasonable price would be good, i am spending so much more on food shopping now because im buying more fresh meat and fish. Losing weight healthily is expensive!

That's not too bad thanks, i struggle to make up much of my exercise calories and end up feeling ill the next day, so really 130 wouldn't be too bad at all. Is it honestly palatable? i did used to like red velvet cake!
