I totally agree! I started my new lifestyle 6 months ago. When I started I thought i would lose 56 pounds in 6 months. At first I was very unhappy with my 1 pound/week weight loss. I am following a medically supervised plan and my medical team is thrilled with my 1 pound per week loss. I have found that my changes really…

I weigh and measure all my food. I have had my period this week too so I know that's part of it. One of my mantras is Being fat is hard, eating right is hard. Pick your hard. As I've lost I can definitely tell movement is getting easier. That is VERY motivating for me! Thanks for the support!

I'm also apple shaped. I wear a lot of v neck tops, I have tried empire waist tops but I also think I look pg, and at age 46 that's not a look I want! I have started wearing more fitted pants, slim leg fit. I have found them to be very flattering but I also have trouble with fit the waist, baggy in the butt. Takes some…

My weight loss was always so excruciatingly slow that I would give up. This time around was different, I did have an epiphany! I turned 46 and realized it was now or never. I looked…

I'm using a medically supervised "moderate carb" lifestyle. I am losing slowly about 1 lb/ week but I'm losing! Started working out a bit a few weeks ago and now feel ready to work with a trainer.
