Plateaus are mentally exhausting!

I have hit a plateau for the last couple of weeks. I have been going up and down with the same 1.5 pounds for about 2 weeks. I was anticipating this as I looked back through my log book, I weigh daily. I have been drinking more water and have upped my activity and am eating my macros in the appropriate proportions.
I seem to plateau every other month and I know it, but it's still frustrating! Last month was terrific so I know it's only temporary. The difference is that I continue on plan instead of giving up like I always have in the past.

Do you weigh your food? Are you around your period?

You're right. Totally exhausting mentally. Continually convincing yourself that it is worth it etc.
But soooo worth sticking with it and seeing it move again.

My favourite phrase from these boards is, 'time passes anyway'. Let it pass whilst being on plan and stuff will happen! Keep telling yourself it is only temporary. As you say, you have past records and knowledge which help a lot.

I weigh and measure all my food. I have had my period this week too so I know that's part of it.

One of my mantras is Being fat is hard, eating right is hard. Pick your hard.

As I've lost I can definitely tell movement is getting easier. That is VERY motivating for me! Thanks for the support!
