This is awesome! Congrats!

Hey! I love cosplay! Haven't done it in so long, but cosplaying is a huge motivator for me with my fitness.

5'10" *and 3/4" Highest 159 lbs Lowest 110 lbs Current 133 lbs Goal: I'm honestly not sure. I frequently say 128-133 as my "maintenance range," but weight is funny to me. Keeping myself HEALTHY and not all screwy is definitely the most important piece, though!

Apologies if it's been asked (I searched but may not have been up on the search terms), but how do you feel about the Order of the Good Death and/or the concept of home funerals? I'd love to get another perspective on this.

Hey! Feel free to add me. 5'10 (and 3/4)" - 132 lbs. I started at 160 (basically) and worked my way down from there. Currently going to the gym to strength train and build muscle.

If I'm not hungry, I wouldn't eat those calories. If I felt hungry, probably an egg, a few nuts or some jerkey because it's high in protein and should make me feel full longer.

Yes, my husband lost 35 pounds in a month. I lost 15 pounds in a month (and was already at a low-mid BMI at 150 and 5'10" so 15 pounds was pretty impressive to lose). Note: We were successful because Whole 30 jump-started us into meal prepping, careful calorie counting, and naturally lower-calorie meals (just meat and…

I don't think it is necessary; however, it can be a really great motivator if you have friends or family members with them. I don't own one, but since my entire family now has them, I'll get them for the social-fitness aspect of it. It's cool to have challenges and to see how others are doing. (I'm also that type of…

Feel free to add me, if you'd like. I definitely understand the stressful, busy job piece.
-
I love both coffee and tea, for sure!

I am 5'10" (sneaking in!) but my goal weight is also 130. Started at 155 and am currently at 134 (yay).

My first week on Whole 30 I dropped 7 pounds and my husband dropped 10. Now, just as was already mentioned, it was sodium and water and whatever the heck else. Probably only 2-3 pounds of actual... fat/weight off.

We are way too quick to assign mental health diagnosis to pop-culture crap. #fitspo is a popular hashtag on all social media. People aren't being "classic narcissists". They're finding positive reinforcement for being healthy and sharing their interests with other people that have the same interests. Facebook is just…

I definitely can get freaked out; however, I also think if you want to be mindful of what you're eating... think about your portions. Don't feel embarrassed or concerned eating half and taking half home (especially if you checked out the nutritional information online and the meals are heavy, which in many restaurants they…

I limit sodas because carbonation feels totally funny to me, and I do suggest using a straw because the only person that's been annoyed by my soda use (and coffee/tea use) is my dentist. (Coffee/tea because of staining and no one wants to take an extra 5 to have to polish your teeth more because you drink coffee like…

Sparkling water is amazing. Most places carry that or a diet soda option.

You can get a kids meal fries and nuggets and a diet coke? Or coke zero, which may taste better to you. Though, I like to bring around a LaraBar or some fruit or 100 calorie guac/hummus in case I need a snack. I keep a little thing in my work bag for whenever I may need it. Also, if you feel peckish, drink water. Sometimes…

I love watching the show every year! The outfits are so much fun, and the women look incredible!

I'm 5'10" (and three-quarters). Started at 155. Currently at 137 and aiming for 130. Just started going to the gym, so my goals will be tailored a bit if this whole fitness situation becomes routine! (The goal will be 135 to account for fitness.) Whole 30 got me back on track with healthy eating. Meal prepping is my life.…

It is very challenging, but it is possible! There are helplines you can call to support a moment of struggle, and you can always find a distracting task. When I was in traditional recovery (a program), I'd color or work on a task as I ate. It was a trick to distract myself as much as possible as I did something I really…

I'm tracking everything and going to be reasonable with my intake. I have a goal to stay under 1800 calories. Normally, I eat around 1200-1400, so I just want to "maintain." This shouldn't be too difficult since I've committed to water this Thanksgiving. (Usually, I drink quite a bit of holiday dark beers on Thanksgiving.…

I noticed the number on the scale first. Then, after a few months, I noticed how my snug clothes fit well. Recently (literally yesterday), I looked in the mirror and noticed a difference. The last bit is a big deal for me because I am diagnosed with an ED, so I have issues with "seeing" myself correctly. I'm not saying…

I love eating dinner with my family. Just like most posters said, I am going to eat what I'd like BUT keep it in a reasonable amount. No need to go full crazy over it. I also am excited to use the food prepped today as my meal prep through the next week. I am cooking my own "Friendsgiving" on Saturday, and I did modify…

This is my most recent, but I have a total of 7 so far.

5'10" HW: 160 lbs. CW: 135 lbs. GW: 128 lbs. LW: 110 lbs. (never again!) I am excited because 135 was my "goal weight" for awhile. Now, I made it, and I am excited to get to 128 lbs... hopefully by the end of the calendar year!

I have 10 more pounds to lose, too! We can definitely be friends. I love finding more active people to follow.

I have been waist training for over ten years now (which, of course, doesn't make me an expert but I wanted to provide context and my perspective) with steel-boned corsets and recognize the timing it takes and the commitment if a person wants to make this part of their daily wear and practice. I was also unsure of what OP…

I waist trained because the shape it gives me is something I enjoy. If you are waist training and want advice on it, I'd highly suggest going to a corset-training forum or group. Tying the two (gaining and training) doesn't need to happen and working out in a corset-- especially if it is steel-boned (which is really the…

I adore Trader Joe's, and they were a fabulous company to work for... so much so that many of my friends stayed on as "crew" because they felt the pay was reasonable, they had benefits and the folks you work with all tend to be pretty awesome. (I found this to be true, anyway.) I love the cauliflower rice, Trader Joe's…

It may not be 100% what you're looking for but lots of low-or-no-carb people use Keto, Paleo and/or Whole 30. These may be good places to start with for recipes at the very least. You may not want to follow the programs completely, but there will be hundreds of recipes that are low-carb.
