I eat every morning before work but sometimes don't on my days off if I am not going to be very active.

Cajun spice and saute. Cooked medium or mid rare. Yum!

Walking is great. You can do it anywhere. It doesn't require special equipment. It's free.

I log every day. Even the days I go over. I find that it helps me quite a lot to be honest with myself. I don't look at it as failure or being bad it is just a way to stay honest and seeing the numbers helps me. Often I notice that even though went over my goal I am often still in some kind of a deficit. That is…

After trying all of the so called "healthy" substitutes, I decided I would rather have my coffee the way I like it. So now I drink less of it but continue to enjoy my 2 tablespoons of Coffee mate in every cup.

Tomorrow is a new day and I start with a clean slate. The +/- number that was there at the end of yesterday is now history and no longer relevant. If I am in the green by a few hundred I might look back at my week and use those uneaten calories over the weekend. If I am in the red the number given for the "you would weigh…

@MadalinaPetre I am pretty sure you are violating copyright law by posting those images, unless you are the author of that book or have their permission to do so. OP along with not overly restricting myself, I allow myself to work at this slowly. Instead of having some date i mind to reach a glao I just work on making…

Make a batch of cookies and form into potion sized balls and freeze what you are not going to eat right away. Take out only what you want to eat and cook them. There is nothing wrong with eating one or two cookies. Feeling like a loser is a matter of your own self image and has nothing to do with anything else. You have…

You don't weigh 205 pounds... You are fit, near or at goal and routinely running marathons. Your burn is not going to be the same as another person's burns even for the same exercise. % miles of walking in 98 minutes is a pretty good clip. OP don't worry to much about what Fitbit says. Just go by what MFP is telling you.…

I had the Flex for a year and I liked it a lot. Recently upgraded to the Charge HR. Love it. Since all of my exercise comes from my active life and hobbies, I think the Heart rate monitor in addition to the step count, does a better job of giving me an idea of my daily burn. The Flex was great for doing challenges with…

So... you are going to be regularly only getting only 4 hours of sleep a night? Sleep is very important for daily function and health as well as weight loss. Eating more might be something you need to do for other reasons, but it won't take the place of much needed sleep.

I prefer to use raw weights over cooked weights whenever possible. Cooking does render off some fat which could accocunt for small differences in calorie counts but depending on how long it is cooked, (Well done vs rare, medium, burnt to a crisp, etc) could change those numbers. If you start with the raw weight you are…

Why don't people get this? Fitbit is NOT a pedometer. It is an activity tracker. Arm movements are activity. If you are moving your body you are active. Any part of your body in motion is using additional energy compared to being sedentary. Not just your feet. That's what Fitbit is counting. Yes it gives steps because we…

Well technically. It is virtually harmless when consumed but almost always fatal when inhaled. As for the OP question. The one you like best in amounts that work with your calorie goal. I like my full fat, high fructose corn syrup laden Coffee Mate or generic equivalent. But I drink a lot less coffee these days.

Most of my water is first run through some ground coffee beans or tea leaves, while hot, before drinking. The rest of it I usually drink with some sort of enhancer like Dasani Drops. Most days I get in 8-10 cups. Sometimes more in the summer, less in the winter.

40 G. And I ride a horse with a big trot. Nothing but Enell for me. No wires and very comfortable once you get accustomed to the feeling of being supported. And there is almost zero weight on the shoulder straps which are wide and comfortable. In an Enell I currently wear a size 5. They go up to size 8. If they don't have…

I don't think of my weight loss as having an end point. I think of this as something I will work on for the rest of my life. I spent the first half of my life gaining it. I can spend the second half losing it. I am starting to think of it not as losing weight but as learning to manage my relationship with food in a better…

I started taking a daily multi a few months after I started calorie restriction. Noticed pretty quickly that my energy levels improved a lot. So I am thinking it is probably a good idea.

Indeed... hence the LOL.

LOL I think you are doing fasting wrong. Okay but really that extra 700 calories isn't all that much. I wouldn't qualify it as ruining anything. If you truly were fasting (before the over eating) you probably broke even.

One is made from olives and one is made from coconuts.

I am in the it depends camp. I like Honey in my tea and wit butter on a fluff biscuit. Pure Maple syrup is great in coffee as well as on pancakes and waffles.

Lemon filled is my favorite. :)

I started out with the Fitbit Flex and had it for a little over a year. I liked it just fine. I upgraded last week to the Charge HR. So far am very happy with the new one and really glad I decided to buy it.

Thanks Christine_72. He is a very sweet boy.

Fitbit is not a pedometer. It isn't supposed to only measure when your feet move. It measures when your body is in motion. If your arms are moving you are active and burning calories above your BMR. And yes those numbers sound legit. I also have a highly active/physical job. My TDEE is around 3,500 but I am twice your…

Nope. Not at all necessary. But I find my Fitbit to be very motivational.

2 cans of Black beans, 1 can of diced tomatoes, 100 grams of corn, 50 grams of diced celery, 1/2 pack low sodium taco seasoning, 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing. Made this last week hot originally but it was even better chilled.

Sometimes for lunch I have 100 grams of baby carrots or celery, 2 large hard boiled eggs, an ounce or so of cheese and some fruit. It works well for me to hold me through a highly active job. Next week I am planning to do a pasta salad with a lot of veggies in it.

I'd really like knees that don't hurt all of the time and to be able to run and go down hills and stairs comfortably.
