Yogurt parfait. Layers of yogurt, fresh fruit, nuts, shredded coconut, with a few dark chocolate mini morsels on top. Any kind of fruits will work. You want it cut in small pieces.

Mmmmmm this is going on the menu this week.

All of my eggs are free range and I don't notice them being any more easy or difficult to peel than others. Sometimes my supplier is pulling them out from under the hens when she packs them up for me. I do notice that when they are very fresh they are a little harder to peel. I notice that in general if I run them under…

Why not just drink until you stop feeling thirsty? Water is good for you and there is no reason I can think of to not drink more if your body says it wants more.

Peel a small hole on each end and blow into the skinny end as hard as you can. Sounds funny but it works!

Seems to me like you are doing just fine. 11 pounds is a huge loss in so short a time. Actually unless you are very obese it might be too much too fast. Initial water wight losses can be big so don't be surprised to find that your loss slows down quite a lot over the next months. Don't let that stop you in your tracks. Any…

depending on your weigh loss goal a couple of hundred calories is not really a big deal. My deficit is around 1000 calories and I am under goal most days. Granted I have a rather generous calorie goal due a high activity level, so this isn't so hard for me. But any rate being over a couple of hundred still leaves me in a…

Because it is part of my overall efforts to continually improve myself. I have made massive positive changes in my life over the past several years and getting control of my weight and relationship with food is the next big challenge.

I've learned to pay less attention to the numbers on the scale and more attention to measurements, pictures and how my clothes fit. My weight jumps all over the place but I can visibly and physically see changes happening at a steady rate.

I spend about 5 minutes on breakfast, including packing my lunch for the day. 30 minutes to an hour to make dinner which also results in leftovers to put aside for lunch the next day or the next several day. Usually you can find time to exercise, you just have to be willing to give up something else in order to fit it in.…

I just feed the animals and keep them happy. But the facility researches things like ALS, Parkinsons and other brain disorders. It is pretty fascinating to watch them work and hear about how they help us to learn more about these diseases and how they might be better treated. Anyway we are off topic. I am happy to talk…

I always weigh my eggs. I too get mine from a farm a freind owns and they can vary greatly in size since she has several breeds of chickens. Raw in shell then weigh the shell and subtract the shell number and log the difference under the USDA Eggs raw entry. If they are hard boiled I weigh them after peeling and log in…

I haven't had gallstones but my husband did. I highly recommend listening to the Dr doing exactly what you are told and having it taken out ASAP if Dr says it needs to come out. My husband died of pancreatitis in 1999, It was caused by ignoring and putting of gallstone problems. It was a long three months in the hospital…

My job IS my workout. 7.5 hours on my feet, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, cleaning and generally taking care of monkeys. All while dressed from head to toe in full PPE, having trouble deciding if I am having a 7 hour hot flash or it's just hot in all of that plastic. By the time I get home from work I have…

Glad to help. Generally when my knees start hurting it is because one of the above needs attention. Shoes need replacing, I have run out of joint supplement of been forgetting to take it, or been too long away from the chiro. z Weather does also play a part but that is not so easy to fix. That is where the hot epsom salt…

I take a multivitamin. Being in a calorie deficit I figure it is better to play it safe. I noticed pretty quickly that I had a lot more energy when I started taking them. Particularly when I changed brands from the generic store brand to the One A Day brand.

Cucumber, grapes, a few blueberries and home grown cherry tomatoes today.

What other people think or say about you is not your problem. It is a reflection of who they are. It isn't about you at all. And the kind of person who runs to tell others what someone else has said, especially when they know it might be hurtful, is no kind of a friend. Get back to working on you and don't let anyone get…

I have been dealing with knee pain for 22 years. Both of my knees were damaged in an accident while training a horse when I was 21. The result being arthritis and cartilage damage. Anyway for me the things that have helped a lot were 1) A good joint supplement. I take a triple strength Glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM…

Love Aldi! I shop there for most of my groceries and have several that are on my regular routes that I will go to. The produce is great. There isn't a huge selection but what they have is always fresh and very reasonably priced. I get most of my fruit and veg there. I like a lot of their Specially Selected and Priano items…

Fat free usually means lots of sugar and in the end more calories. I prefer full fats myself. You feel more satisfied with less(or at least I do). Plus healthy fats are in fact... healthy. You should eat them.

Must be something in the air. My evening snack is Artisan multigrain bread with melted Dill Havarti cheese and crispy center cut bacon. Dinner was on the go so I had a 7 inch club sub from the Getgo.

Enjoy your treat, and the confused looks on their faces as they watch you not only enjoy your daily treat but lose weight too.

Consume more calories.... Seems self explanatory.

Stop calling them cheat days and stop believing that you are a bad person for not always being perfect. I never have cheat days. I do however have days when I consciously choose to eat more than my calorie goal. Since I still log whatever I eat I tend to still be in some kind of a deficit or around maintenance. I am not…
