HI all, I have started LCHF diet last week. Im on thyroid meds and metformin for PCOS. I am not diabetic. Really want to lose weight :|

I am hypothyroid and have PCOS. I am on thyronorm and 1000mg metformin. Can I do a low carb high fat diet with metformin. My doc advised not to fast. Will metformin promote weight loss during LCHF diets or it backfires

Doc prescribed Metformin. But I have planned to start Low carb diet as I see many success stories
