Try not to focus on the scale. It's obvious that you've made progress. Besides muscle weighs more than fat.

You're a true inspiration!

You look great! Your abs look good as well. :)

I lost 80lbs in 8 months doing crossfit at a local gym. My results were consistent but most importantly is how my level of fitness improved and i really enjoyed working out. I no longer attend a gym but I use several of the routines that we used to maintain my results almost a year later. HIIT/Tabata has proven to be very…

I agree. It cause such mixed emotions when it comes from people who are close to you.

ROFLOL :D

It's okay to laugh. I've even tried drinking a few ounces of vinegar prior to eatting a high fat/calorie meal such as fast food. I read some where that it's suppose help your body burn fat/calories better. Pure vinegar is actually kind of gross.

U look awesome! Slender with good muscle tone. Try not to get addicted to the scale a lot of things factor in such as amount of weight lost, muscle mass, etc.

I try to use some sort of vinegar based or cayenne pepper on certain foods to boost metabolism and encourage weight lost.

This sounds like a good idea. I do worry about becoming too relaxed with food and diet.

Congratulations on your weight loss but most importantly on self talk Up I am literally in tears over your words and this post in general. We have to respect and speak kindly to ourselves at every size. The real battle is within. <3 <3 :)

Keep your fitness goals within a healthy range as outlined by a physician. Try creating an inspiration board using only photos of real people, no airbrush work The media plays a huge role in our ideals of beauty rather we're overweight, under weight and/or have never had a weight issue. Take some flattering photos of…

Congratulations!!! You've earned it. Try not to let anyone still that joyous feeling. Kill them with kindness is my motto. People spend thousands of dollars and literally dying to obtain the mental clarity and joy you speak of....too often their comments come from a place of envy vs concern and we can't control that.

Seriously!? immediate family member decides to inform me that we need to talk, they r concerned abt me Me: puzzled look on face, silently listens as Relative: you r so small.... Me: I am not discussing my weight/looks with you. According to my doctor I am healthy as I walk away with an extra sway of my hips. Relative: LOL,…

I lost 80lbs, 8 months of maintenance. This question really has me thinking....when I finally went to purchase new clothes, the size shocked me. I couldn't believe I wear a size 5 in juniors, I wore a size 9 in high school. This was approximately after 5 months of maintenance. Not to sound vain but I've always had a…

It seems like one day I woke up and everything was literally too big...truth is I didn't pay attention until I had to and when I did it was somewhat emotional because of the nice new clothes that I purchased on sale during the winter were way too big for me by the Spring. I considered what if I gain weight again...the cost…

CW: 127lbs @ 5'4" . I lost 80lbs thru cross fit and diet. I hope to improve my mid-section but afraid that any additional weight lost will result in saggy skin. What are thoughts? Recommendations? I'm considering doing the following; low carb, pilates, jogging

I understand completely. I don't consider myself in maintenance from a metal perspective. I'm trying not to eat at a deficit. I plan to remain aware of my eatting habits and physical activity levels. I don't want to slack off and get back into the habit of over eatting. After working toward a goal and developing new…

and I thought it was just me...LOL. I feel so much better. :D

Exactly, we have to remain accountable for our food intake and physical activity. Congratulations! Don't forget to celebrate your accomplishment ;)

First of Congrats! You deserve it.... For me it was a long journey through very stressful life events. Now that I have reached my goal and focused on the maintenance and reflecting on the emotional aspect of it all. I realize and fully acknowledge how freaking awesome it is. I strongly encourage u to put on something form…

Ive been in maintaining for 7 months now. I joined MFP after I lost 80lbs and begain logging food/exercise to help me maintain. Well I stopped logging for 30 days and found myself eatting out of emotions vs hunger a few times and looking forward to eatting...I feel better when I preplan and chart my food intake and…
