I've used this site to do what you are asking. www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php It works somewhat the same as the MFP "5week estimation" when you complete the entry for the day. It's been preety accurate for me.

There's a search tool in this site.: You can combine more features depending on the vitamins/minerals that you are missing and even specify the food category if you want to.

Thanks everyone for your posts, I will take a look at the latest ones when I get home tonight and I apologise for not being able to respond to each one of you. I have found a way to overcome the difficulties I was facing towards having a variety when creating the meal plans. Your messages here and especially the ones sent…

My meal plans are too boring. I go ahead and keep it to basics. Chicken, tomato, yogurt and I can go ahead eating the same thing for days/weeks. I don't mind routine, i actually prefer it. When I want to change something I calculate the calories of the ingredients I want to use and add it. He is used to have more calorie…

I mentioned in my first post that he broke his ankle and he will have to stay at bed for at least 1.5 month. He is using some sort of adult walker to move to the bathroom and such, since his arms and other leg hurt the very same day from trying to lift his weight with cruches. The doctor has asked him to not move at all if…

Yea he is a bit below 5.2. He is not diabetic yet. But he is just below the upper limit on his readinds. With a couple of times going above it. He gets upset too when he sees high readings. And tries to make improvements to his diet which are temporary. I've been checking the GI when trying to find foods but I am focusing…

No disability. He is the kind of person that is uninterested till something clicks in. He is usually afraid of trying something because he thinks he will fail at it. That leads to anxiety so he doesn't get involved right away with many things. I know that nutrition is something that would interest him, as long as I'd…

It's not an obligation, as much as if I don't help him he will end up having diabetes in a couple of years from now. While having a poor quality of life. His wife can do as much as he allows her to. She cannot force him what to eat and what not. If I give him a weekly meal plan he will stick to it for the most part. His…

It is not an entry error. These are his settings: And this is his calorie allotment:

Thanks, I will inform him about that and make sure he will go to a doctor in case the one that supervised the surgery forgot to inform him about it.

Feel free to make a new account if you wish so. The stats are correctly set. For a 41 y old male, 158cm, 107.6kg and Sedentary lifestyle it gives 1220calories/day. If he was like 13years younger it would give him 1310..
-
1m58cm... I thought it was pretty obvious? That's like 5.18 in feet/inches

He is not paying attention to his sodium nor potassium. Doctors didn't mention anything about monitoring those two. Which would make sense since it affects how kidneys function. He is only paying attention to what medications he should not get(like for example aspirin)and not his diet. His current diet habits, consist of…
-
Yes he is 1.58cm 107.6kg I have no idea about that. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had his kidney removed 3years ago but his weight loss issues go back way before that.

Well the conv went like this(Person B is male, morb obese and person A is female in normal weight range, which at some point needed to losr weight) : Person A: Oh you lost weight, how much did you lose?? Me: X kgs Person A: How did you lose it? Me: I just paid attention to what I was eating mostly and then hit the gym at…

I fail to see how just because something isn't common, is translated right away to be wrong and a sickly attitude. I don't HAVE to do it, as you noted, I chose to do so because it is the most accurate way to know if my intake was too high or too low for the day. I've been in their shoes before but my attitude back then…

For sure in top three body transformations I've seen so far. You look awesome!

I have low blood pressure as well. At least for the last 12years that i measured it. Sadly I haven't read much on the issue, and the only things I know about it are the "fatigue" thing and that people with low blood pressure at a young age are more prone to have hypertention when they get older. My mother in fact has that,…

Noom Walk was the most accurate app when I had checked 5months ago. It will count the step if you move your phone but then if you are at the same spot it will remove it after a sec. Also it was pretty lightweight when I was using it. So take a look at it if you want.

I am not newb entirely since i am close to my goal after a couple of months but I'd love a mentor. A couple of stuff about me: My name is Maria, I am from west Greece, 29years old. I've studied Health care and Social Units administration. My plan originally was to lose weight. Around 20BMI to start lifting, then cut till…

My bf prefers me to have extra weight. He was actually pushing food to me so I would gain weight for the past years. When after a couple of years together I gained some weight, and told him that I wanted to lose it, he didn't like it. After he saw that i was serious about it and i didn' t give in to his "sabotage" of…

I have 8more pounds to lose, feel free to add me.

I would most likely eat normally, maybe 100-150calories less than MFP goal, I would log every single bit of that binge tho. I'd overestimate as well. So the next time I'd think twice.
-
I eat milk with cereal for breakfast and dinner. So that leaves me to decide only about one meal and the extras as i call them. Extras are usually one ir two of the following: a fruit, some ice tea if i go out, eggs after working out and stuff like that. As for thay one meal, i find baked chicken breast trimmed from any…

I did use it to pick a goal weight. Which was 18.5 on BMI scale. So i wouldn't drop lower below that. When i reach that I will then bulk up for 6months in order to build muscle and then maybe cut again for a couple of months and reevaluate.

I boil and then grill/fry(w/o oil)mine so they don't have any remaining water in. I then eat them with yogurt. :)
