  • I have done this as well. I would say that no matter what happens even if it does kick you out of ketosis, you just get up the next day and start over. It's only one day and not that worth worrying about.
  • wait, what? uh carbs in my deodorant in toothpaste? seriously? I can confirm that coconut oil makes a great moisturizer. I just started putting it on my scalp after i shave my head.
  • thanks for your input and the reassurance!

  • see my problem here is that sometimes if I don't eat at least some of the calories burnt, mfp gets an attitude with me because once i burn the calories i am below 1200 calories for the day and it doesn't like that.
  • nothing is free. free is a lie we tell ourselves because we want to eat something. we have to track so we know what we eat.
  • I still havent went thankfully. but i promised myself that if and when i do, i will record it on mfp so i can see the records of those empty calories
  • When on the treadmill, I watch netflix on my kindle. When walking my dog, i think about my day and about making sure that he doesn't run into traffic. While lifting weights, I visualize my muscles getting bigger. Sometimes I do think about baked goods when I workout though.
  • you have to have a plan. adults are not that different than children in this respect. Structure and routine makes it easier for us. Getting into the habit of having multiple go to meals and snacks is essential. Mfp's food diary makes it easy to keep with the habit for me.
  • Don't forget butter! It goes great with bacon. Don't listen to the naysayers! I feel so much better on this than I did before hand.
  • Howdy, I have been doing keto for most of the last year, finally gotten strict about it again after a lapse. Any lifestyle where you can eat pork products all the time is great for me. :)
  • healthcare is rough. I think the worst stress eating can happen there. People end up bring in snacks all the time, drug reps bring in lunches...I started my weight gain while working inpatient psych and now that I work in a psychiatrists office I struggle because everyone has unhealthy eating habits.
  • Well absolutely, counting calories is so tedious and I resent the *kitten* out of it. But if I don't do it, then I do not lose any weight because I cannot maintain any accountability with my eating. Without counting calories, i stress eating like crazy.
