Did an easy 5k tonight after a day off yesterday. Plan calls for a 10k tomorrow, which will put me at 78 miles for the month, with 22 to my goal.

Welcome Julie! I have been where you are, and lost 110 pounds over the last 4 years. Still have 20-25 more to go, and would be happy to help and support you on your journey! Feel free to read my profile and add me if you'd like.

First 5k post surgery with some running (about half), and just a few seconds off my usual pace, so I'll take that.

I'm down 110 pounds, with about 20 more to go, but it took me 4 years to get here (on purpose). My thought was making small, gradual changes to my diet and exercise program would be more sustainable long term.

I'm a type 2 diabetic, and when I was on injectable insulin, had to…

Took Saturday and Sunday off, back to the program today with a 5k.

5k today... All walking so far. Had hernia surgery June 22, and the doc wants me to wait another week before I start back to running. BTW, 57 miles walking post surgery.
