59 years old, and 59 pounds to my goal weight (I've lost 12 pounds since 12/15/2020). Got down to 195 a few years ago, then life got crazy and I gained 75 pounds back. New goal is 200 pounds, maybe more.

Hi everyone. I'm 58, had lost 115 pounds. Last spring I lost my wife to cancer, and stopped taking care of myself, gaining 40 pounds back. Its time to get back on track, and MFP was very helpful in my original journey.

My diary is always open. Anyone can feel free to add me.

I started over 2 weeks ago, and have lost 9 pounds. My name is Craig and I'm a bit older then everyone else, 58 years old.

Feeling lightheaded and dizzy is never "normal"... See your family Dr and take your food diary with you.

I finished January with 80.7 miles, which is right where I wanted to be.

80.7 miles for January. Right on track...

I love my crock pot! Check out "Fix it and Forget it Cookbook" Ton's of great recipes. I try to avoid the ones made with any "cream of" soups, or make them with my own version made healthier.

Not sure, but I think you have to send a friend request first. I could be wrong tho.

I'd be interested in being a mentor. I'm a 55 year old male who spent his entire adult life obese. 5 years ago I got my head screwed on straight, and have lost over 100 pounds and have gone from sitting on the couch eating whole pizzas to 1000 miles of running, walking, biking last year. I'm a type 2 diabetic and am no…

I like to use my resistance bands as part of a HIIT circuit. Side lat raises, curls, standing rows, and triceps extensions, together with 4 core exercises. 45 seconds work, 10 seconds rest/moving to the next exercise. I do 5-6 sets. Sometimes I do that same HIIT circuit, then do 10-15 minutes on the treadmill, and repeat…

I'm Craig from the Downriver Detroit area. I managed 850+ miles last year, and going to step up to 1000 for this year. Thanks for starting the group Caz!

On a low carb wrap, with bacon. In my post workout protein drink. As a dip for apple slices or pretzel sticks. In Thai red curry stew. When I just gotta have a "fix", on a spoon.

1000 miles walking, loosing that last 10 pounds, and engagement(?!?!)

I've lost 110 pounds. It took me 4+ years, but I believe I can keep it off for good because I did it slow and steady. I'd be happy to offer help and encouragement as you walk on your journey to better health.

MFP already does that...

55 miles for December so far, and 850 for 2016. Gonna shoot for 1000 walking miles in 2017...

Agree with Vin. Lots of people lose a lot of weight fast, but most don't keep it off. Think long term (I know, hard to do). making small but sustainable changes will be more successful in the end.
-
Don't make it any more complicated than it already is. Start making small changes to your daily habits. Before you know it, those changes become good habits, and you're on your way! Stay away from overly processed foods, eat a balance of carbs, fats, and protein, and do your best to move every day. As much as you can, and…
