She always phoned ahead for when she was coming over: I couldn't take the micro management!

You are very observant on creativity in pictures. Oh, and the before and after picture of yourself is incredible and shows you must have great determination and willpower.

She listened to and genuinely liked the band Creed. It was on par to finding out your partner is a serial killer.

I've only found one that has a great sushi bar and great Chinese food, but it's also a bit more then the average buffet. It's on Long Island over by the Source Mall.

Probably Beef Pad Thai. Also, I LOVE ham with mayonnaise on a toasted egg bagel.

Welcome aboard guys. Dave buddy, you got this and there's a whole community of us willing to help. I also love food (sandwiches are my big weakness - well, that and nearly everything else) but if you start small and do moderate exercise the weight will definitely come off. If you want I'll 'friend' you here and you can get…

I never travel far without a little Big Star.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndyzoHr8Zjk

I also hate my body: it's why I'm busting my butt working out and eating healthy as opposed to gorging myself on Pad Thai and Pizza. It's OK to hate your body to an extent, as long as you use that positively to work on yourself.

Never seen. Mad Men.

I'm assuming you mean 1500 or 3 PM, and what I usually do is chug a LOT of water. I've read that most times you think you're hungry can be attributed to a need to hydrate. 1500 to 1700 is tough for me as well, even with the water, but I find that by forcing myself to drink, say, three to four cups helps a little. If I'm…

Thank you everyone for your encouragement. Two days down and I feel better already.

Slightly over 40 here, and yup: big blamer on middle age, family, work and general lack of time. When really it just comes down to dedication.

This short guy is just out: I'm 5'5" and sometimes 5'6" when I stretch. I'm hoping by losing weight that I'll look slightly taller.

I did, although I didn't follow the P90X3 Nutrition plan. I just basically cut calories down to 1200 a day (sometimes more, I'm not perfect :D ) and I also started running at lunch during work at my company's gym. Between running at lunch and P90X3 I figured I'd burn between 600 to 700 calories a day, and at first it…

I've been cycling through it now for 5 months, so I can't start per se with you, but good luck either way. Be prepared to sweat a ton. Personally, I cut out all the Yoga and stretching stuff and just went for cardio and fitness. Not sure if I recommend that mind you.

To overuse a rather dull analogy, it's a marathon not a sprint. Set a longer term goal like 6 months and keep up eating well and exercising. Six months goes awfully fast, and then you'll see a much bigger difference. I'm about three and a half months in, and now I notice a vast difference in how I feel, the way clothes fit…

During a workweek, I don't like to eat while I'm at work. I always feel tired after eating, even eating a small portion. I don't remember who posted above, but I prefer my calories for when I get home from work and doing activities. I can only speak for me, but I'm a lot more productive when I'm hungry.

Annyeong back to you, although I was truly hoping this post was an Arrested Development (TV show) post.

I LOVE soda. Love it. Especially Dr. Pepper, which is clearly the greatest soda ever made. That being said, as I could easily polish away a 2 liter in a day (which is incredibly terrible for you) I now restrict myself to a glass of soda when I get home from work after dinner. All day at work now I force myself to drink…

It's "Lawn Eyeland, Nu Yawk" and same here. I'll be fighting traffic in about 30 minutes and cursing at humanity in general.

I use it as well. I'm only on week 3, but it's pretty great. The intervals really help you build up, and it burns a great amount of calories as well in a half hour. I try to do cardio 5 days a week at the gym in my office, so even though there's only three days for each week I've been just repeating them until I can…
