Sympathies to you and your family on your devastating loss...but kudos to you for taking such good care of yourself. You look awesome!

@Lizzy622 We have rail trails around us too but they are usually too crowded for me.

So inspired. I'm just starting out on my journey (one month in) and have been mainly walking outside for exercise. Can't jog or run (stupid arthritic ankles).

The state forest trails in our town...so peaceful. And buggy. But it's peaceful..lol.

@wizzybeth and @jorinya So nice to have fellow adoptees here! :)

@wizzybeth Very odd. It was nice though...was able to have both of my moms walk me down the aisle last October at my wedding. (My adoptive father died 11 years ago). <3 to you.

@wizzybeth I'm adopted and was found by my biological mom in 2008. For my entire life, I was the youngest child...and then, I found out I had a brother and sister so I'm now the oldest in that group. Very weird.

I passed out in church while I was singing in the choir. Didn't puke but man, that was embarrassing..lol.

Going out for a walk after work. Going to try for 3 miles instead of my usual 2 on my work days. Was super excited yesterday when I timed a 16 minute mile on my walk. Bear in mind that when I first started walking for exercise last month, I was at a 19 minute mile. It's the little things. :) I'm not sure about the belly…

Just a check in with my meds...high blood pressure..lol. Hoping once I lose the weight, I won't need them anymore!!

I'm just looking forward to the next time I have to go to the doctor's and stepping on their scale. My doctor has been after me for YEARS to lose weight and now I can say, "Chill out, I'm a work in progress!". ;)

I did well...no drinking for a month for me! My family came to my house yesterday for Mother's Day and my sister was totally bummed that I didn't have my usual jug o' wine chilling in the fridge. My husband gave her pretty much every bottle of unopened wine we had in our cabinet (red wine that I never drank)...she was…

When I started walking last month (right after I joined MFP), my timed mile was almost 19 minutes. Yesterday, I went for a 2.8 mile hike and then an "easier" 2 mile walk in the local cemetery. My timed mile for that walk was under 16 minutes. Boo-yah!

I know, I know...lol. I've decided to make it a Monday May instead of No Weigh May. ;) I totally caved.

Awesome job!!! I'm so inspired by these Success Stories and was able to post one of my own today. I'm just beginning my journey but reading posts like yours makes me believe I can do this too!

I was going to go for a nice easy walk last night but ended up going for a 2 mile hike instead. Burn baby burn!

The sound of someone unwrapping a candy bar and crinkling the paper. Whistling, especially high pitched whistling...my husband has felt my wrath on this one. SHUT UP! Wasps...like, what the h*ll. Bees weren't good enough for the world, there have to be @sshole knock offs?
