I also stay away from the pool when training for a long run. My feet just can't cope! Buggered if I ever fancy a triathlon! Although the tape would probably do the job. Hmmmmm...triathlon......

I tape my feet up. It's magic stuff. Saw me through a 50mph wind, constant rain half and a drizzly full. My feet are prone to rubbing when it's wet or hot. I hate to disagree - but do so politely. It does not take forever to build muscle. It takes time but results can be seen within a few weeks with the correct nutrition in order to help muscles recover following training. This gain has followed a mixture of working out and cardio. Thanks for replying. I'm used to tracking my intake as I've always pointed with ww. But I need to be honest about it! And stick to it! Currently unwell so trying to get myself set up on here ready to get back to it when my tonsillitis leaves me!
