  • There are so many factors that play into weight loss...not only food and water intake, but sleep cycles, medications (if I take ibuprofen, I hold water for 3-5 days after), changes in activity levels, monthly cycles, etc. Stay the course...the whoosh fairy will visit you eventually.
  • Open up Google and start researching Low Carb High Fat and Wheatbelly ways of eating. The beauty of these meal plans is that you only count carbs - staying away from sugar and grains. No calorie counting needed. Lots of us lose weight eating this way with absolutely NO exercise.
  • Snacks: dill pickles wrapped in cheese and turkey slices dipped in mayo, green olives and cream cheese, cream cheese clouds, tuna salad, egg salad, pepperoni chips, cheese chips, fat bombs
  • If you haven't read Wheat Belly yet, I highly recommend it. Wheat and sugar can be extremely disruptive to sleep patterns. I sleep much better when I'm restricting carbs than I do "off the wagon." The part that really fascinates me, though, is how much more vivid and memorable my dreams are.
