  • I agree with the posts above. It works as long as you are properly tracking. I track everything that goes in my mouth and weigh out all of my foods. Like Momepro said above 'you don't have to live on salads' you just have to budget for everything, which is why planning ahead is so helpful. I log my nightly treat early in…

  • Congrats on all your success!!! Keep it up and you will crush your goal!!
  • Maybe I live under a rock but this is the first I have heard of this book!! I'm definitely going to have to go read up on it... I'm always looking for new things to change it up.
  • I eat a lot while I'm at work. Every time someone walks past my desk I hear 'are you eating again??' I bring things like greek yogurt, hummus, quest bars, rice cakes with either almond butter or flavored lowfat cream cheese and for lunch I usually have chicken with sweet potato. I'm pretty routine which can be kind of…
  • I take my BCAA's daily AND eat between 145 and 160 grams of protein a day. I personally feel like I can tell a difference when I don't take them. I don't supplement for my cardio though. I HATE cardio so I try to get in at least 3-4 HIIT sessions a week (just 20 minutes). I know everyone is different, but my body responded…

  • I eat 5 to 6 times per day with each meal having somewhere between 200 and 400 calories to get me to my goal of almost 1600 calories per day. They are all planned as well. This seems to work best for me because if they aren't planned and readily available and I allow myself to get really hungry then the will power is out…
  • Love this!!! <3 Thanks for sharing!!
  • Hi everyone  I'm Julie and you are in the right place for motivation and support. I have came in contact with a lot of great people here. I really like being active on here hopefully helping to motivate people while I am being motivated by others. Feel free to add me if you would like. Good luck with all of your…
  • Feel free to add me. I'm a mom of 3 (24, 18 and 3... yea, I said 3 lol) We all can use a good support system!
  • Congrats on your progress so far!!! It's always that last little bit of weight that is so hard to get rid of. I agree with Nolev1976 - I have found so much useful information and ideas on the threads here.
  • Welcome back!!
  • ugh.. the chicken, broccoli and rice diet is AWFUL... I HATE broccoli. I've done way better following IIFYM... I still eat mostly clean foods but I'm able to eat what I like... (for ex NOT fish 3 times a day) I will definitely add you... it's always good to have the support!!!
  • That sounds pretty ahhhmazing  I had 4 oz grilled chicken and 3 oz of red potatoes today for breakfast... maybe I'll opt for some breakfast food for dinner tonight!!

  • Sure, it's ok... I sorta do the same thing. I don't laugh out loud or actually say anything but when I see someone lifting weights that clearly should be able to put up more than me but aren't... In my head I'm saying 'put some weight on that'
  • uughhhhhh.... OMG... the dark chocolate sea salt chocolates!!! You're killing me!!! Now I might have to make a trip to Costco
  • I'm 5'6" with a current weight of 136lbs. The one side of me is telling me I have a goal weight of 129lbs (just so I can say I'm under 130...what the heck is wrong with my head...lol) The other side of me is telling me who cares what you weight...muscle weighs more than fat.. I have been training/lifting hard over the past…
  • 5'6" / 136 lbs / 1500 calories a day (until I can get to 130lbs) I wish I didn't care about the number... I KNOW BETTER but still can't help myself.
  • I think 1lb a week is definitely achievable if you are getting your workouts in and have and have your eating plan on lockdown. I'm a believer of IIFYM but I try to stick to as much clean foods as possible. I won't deprive myself of things that I really want because I know it will just backfire in the long run. Good luck…
  • You may not necesarily have to cut your daily calories drastically but I would definitely recommend taking a good look at what you are eating to get in your calories. My current caloric intake is 1500 calories a day and I'm finding it hard somedays to even get to that many. I'm right there with jemhh on the eating a little…
  • First of all.. Congratulations on losing 34 lbs and keeping it off!!! I struggle with binge eating myself. It makes it hard to get over the hump!! I have found that setting small goals for myself really help me... for example I would binge on peanut m&ms. I actually ended up giving them up for lent. I still haven't touched…
