Wow, not only did April creep up on me, but so did 10 pounds. My goal weight is 110, but my current weight is 120. Anybody interested in the commitment to lose 10 pounds by July 4? That's when we're headed to the beach so I am extremely motivated to get these 10 pounds off. 11 1/2 weeks to reach my goal.

1lb a week is aggressive if you only have 10 to lose.
I have 12 left and looking at the end of summer....0 -
I have ten pounds to lose and would like to do it by July 7, my baby will be one and it is time to be back at my ore pregnancy weight....I've already lost 12 so I know I can do this! so I'm with you!0

Super aggressive!
I have 16lbs and targeting 0.5lbs per week, putting me at the end of November.
Focus on long term, sustainable weight loss.0 -
I'm shooting for 15 pounds by 7/1, so that's the same ballpark.0

So glad I'm not the only one in the same boat. I've done it before. It was just extremely difficult and took a lot of time and dedication. I don't usually let it go like this but I started a new business and let it get in the way of my overall health. One pound a week is aggressive, but if done right it can also be achievable. I just have to make sure that I do my weight lifting, cardio and proper nutrition.
Good luck to you all and don't mind adding you guys for the support.0 -
I'm trying to lose close to 10 lbs. I'm only 4'11" and have a serious back problem. If I stay close to 100 lbs, I have less pain. I've managed to move up to 106 lbs (probably like 10 lbs on the average size person). I need support to do this. I really don't want to wait until I've gained more before I pay attention to what I eat. I love to cook and bake..and eat.0

Hey, same stats! I don't know if I'll stop at 110 (100-105 seems better), but it seems like a good place to stop and re-examine my goals. 1 lb sounds pretty doable0

I think 1lb a week is definitely achievable if you are getting your workouts in and have and have your eating plan on lockdown.
I'm a believer of IIFYM but I try to stick to as much clean foods as possible. I won't deprive myself of things that I really want because I know it will just backfire in the long run.
Good luck0 -

Too aggressive, and it probably won't come off that quickly anyway. Why not just set your goals for half of that and see where it takes you.0
