Relax...live...and learn. Consider the slow bulk a step function. Go 250-350 cal above maintenance at higher protein macro...get your carbs peri workout. Include cardio sessions in your calcations for energy requirements. Maybe 30-35 min sessions 5 days a week. It will be slow...but you gains. Little...lean out at new…

Boom!

Absolutley! I would encourage you to write out all your goals on paper....maybe break them up into smaller parts. Like lose 20 lbs...put that date on your calendar...make your weight loss a planned event and then execute that plan.

This all depends on what kind of results you want. Advice peeps on deficit cities to get them from quality sources. Also...if you are at deficit calories and make a decision not to drink your calories...then your reward is that you get to eat more...and I like to eat.

Welcome to MFP!

I do meal replacement shakes. Mine is 50 grams of whey isolate and 50 grams of Carbohydrate Powder (cyclic dextrin). Get's me cocked and loaded before my weight training workout at 6 pm. I Usually drink it about 4 pm. Has around 400 calories.

Stop drinking your calories (just drink water). For most people this helps with taking in too much sugar. Eat whole foods and this will help as well.

Love the honesty in this post. "Listen up Brahs. This is the revolution...everyone has a little bit of Zyzz in them....we're all gonna make brah!" - Aziz Shavershian

Yes...I have ground up instant oats in my own weight gain shakes. I have a super nice blender though...it is annoying to do...but super cost effective.

Okay...did this back in 2012. I only lost 1 lb per week, but over 6 months it added up to 35 lbs.

I like going into the gym prepared for war....which means I fuel my body with the proper carbs before, during and slam them after weight training. Guess I love me some carbs.

Be careful with that program. I see too many people get hurt on Insanity. You might consider T25 as it will produce similar results with a proper diet.

Hi my name is Robert and I live in Georgia, United States. I went through crazy 6 month transformation back in 2012 that completely changed my reality of what is possible and sparked my passion for Body Building. I'm new to MFP and wish I new about this place back then. Feel free to add me for motivation as I'm always…

I think the take away from this beautiful thread is that pre-planning meals makes getting to where you want to be a lot easier. I tell most of the people I work with to just start with prepping the lunch for the week. Bring some snacks to work and don't screw up dinner and most people are on track for losing weight. Or…

I eat a fair amount of ground turkey...sometimes a pound a day...maybe I'll throw some spinach in there as well.

Started at 220 lbs. in six months I weighed 185 lbs I ate 2200 to 2400 calories per day and only lost about 1 lb per week.... P90x changed my life...right after P90x I completed 3 consecutive rounds of Body Beast...entered a physique competition soon after and now I'm chasing my Aesthetic Dreams. "We're all gonna make it…

I see nothing wrong in this logic...based on the goals you told the trainer.

I'm not a fan of this diet....especially if you lift. Be careful...
