Once my knees start to feel sore or I get shin splints I get new shoes no matter how few or many miles I have on them. To be fair, if I do a half marathon I just buy new ones. It may be an extra expense but I plan on keeping my knees for a long time

Wear two sports bras on top of each other for extra support. It is harder to breathe but you get used to it and no one wants saggy 80 year old breasts before their time. I try to make my weight stay on my heels and for the most part my knees are over my ankles. This however is impossible for me to keep up the deeper I go. I seem to involuntarily do the 'butt wink' which won't give you the results you are working for. I have tried to not go as deep, change the space of my legs and yet the wink still occurs. Looking for pointers :)
