I'm down for finding new friends/people to help push me on my fitness journey! Feel free to add me :) I can use all the motivation I can get.

I'm in the same boat @JNicoleMolly, all my friends are thin and fit. I've always been the heavy/thicker friend. I've also been part of MFP for quite some time but haven't been as active. Hoping to change that this time around :) I managed to lose 20 lbs back in October by going on a 45 day weight management program of…

@nlworoloc23 I felt the same way when I first signed up for the gym. Luckily, there was a women's only section but eventually I began to feel comfortable enough to go into the unisex area. Mind you, this was about 4 years ago for me. I have since cancelled my membership because I thought I'd be using my apartment gym more…

I'm starting fresh today too! I am also at my heaviest and it's beginning to take a toll on my life and self-esteem. The first week is always the toughest. I managed to do it a few years ago but have since let myself go. Just keep pushing through and keep positive people around you on your journey :)
