Scales are the both the worst and the best. Try to focus on the fact that you are going in the right direction. If you track your weight on the app, glance at the chart for motivation!

I log the entire day in the morning, pack my lunch and snacks (everyday!). This way, I know what I can eat. When someone offers me something that isn't already logged, it's easier to say no. My husband had the same issue (at 500 cals a day and lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks that he didn't' need to lose) We took him to a doctor and sure enough....there was inflammation where it shouldn't be. A pill a day and he is eating again. So not trolling--just concerned but you really should go see someone.

If it was me that binged, would you tell me that I was disgusting and fat? I doubt it. You'd probably forgive me and tell me to move past the slip. So--if you wouldn't say it to me then don't say it to yourself. Don't let self-loathing turn one bad day into multiples.

FWIW, I bloat at any major change in diet. Argh--like 5 pounds of water weight in a day! Give it a few more weeks--drink as much water as you can stand--and I bet it will go away. 5 pounds at a time. Then the next 5 pounds. Any more than that and it can seem insurmountable. So far--61 pounds lost. :)
