Slower with lime juice and Flavor God seasoning, shred while still hot. I also smoke mine (apple wood) with a dry rub (low sodium). Let them go at 200 degree for 30 to 40 depending on thickness. Not dry at all and seem to hold a day or too longer in the frig. I will also do breast tenders in egg, sriracha wash and Panko…

Awesome job! Seeing the results is sooo motivating just in and of it's self. Keep it going!!!

Carbs is a tough one, that is my weakness as well. I love bread an pasta and when I slip it is usually there. I try and get the most bang for my buck in when I do, like Dave's Killer Bread (21 grain) is a very stout bread filled with good complex carbs and fiber and tastes amazing. Non GMO and gluten free etc. I load it up…

Agreed with the above! You have to eat to lose, fuel the furnace so to speak. Restricting calories too much will cause your body to sacrifice muscle and protect fat stores. Building muscle (lean, non bulk) dramatically increases your body's ability to burn fat. If you are open to the suggestion, try taking measurements…

Taking the first step is sometimes the most difficult and you just did it! Keep it going!

Measurements not weight, are you comfortable defining your total and complete body composition by your weight? Sincere question, not trying to be a "richard" If that is your "must have" and focus is to hit that target number, maybe go and get a "body pod" done to get an accurate idea of what the weight consists of, water,…

Set mini goals! Meal prep is huge for me, less likely to slip.

Agree with many parts Stef's post. I am a believer in meal prep for the week, takes a lot of the stress out of it all, less likely to slip. Workouts, push yourself but don't kill yourself anywhere near the beginning. Prevents rapid burnout. Focus on inches not weight, weight is just one number and often misleading early…
