I have been swimming but too lazy to add it here. ~2000yds today

~2000 yds in 45 minutes. Nice warm up, back fin work, and an easy mile.

Swam a straight 2550 yds this morning in about 55 minutes. Not super quick, but I felt better than my latest past swims.
-
I had to force myself to keep swimming today. I was short of breath with increased heart rate just after my 200 warm up. Pushed another 100 warm up and then did 1900 yds. Frankly, it sucked.

Swam a bit over a straight mile plus warm up and back fin work. It was interesting as my 10 year old kept interrupting me to ask questions. Took about 40 min.

The burner fins? I love mine!

Swam ~2000 yds in about 45 minutes. For some odd reason I was very short of breath and it wasn't pleasant.
-
Did a quick mile as I got to the pool later than I should have.

My only problem after a swim are the prolonged 'racoon' eyes from my goggles! It really is ridiculous and they aren't super tight.

I am back after nearly 3 weeks of no swimming. I knew summer would be more difficult since the kids would be home. Anyway, school began yesterday so today I popped in the pool for a swim. I was afraid I would be horribly out of shape but swam a decent warm up, 200 yd back fin work, and then straight mile. Felt great!

Mine were fogging up even with consistent spit. Finally, I figured it had to be caused by contaminents. Yep, once I washed lightly with dish soap they cleared up. Now I wash them every few days to prevent it.
-
I didn't have much time so did a mile-36 minutes, along with a warm up and fin work.
-
2600 yds in about 60 min. Took it easy but did throw in some sprint 25s.

My strength is there as I really have to think about kicking more. I don't know about technique because I can't see myself ;) Lately my weakness has been boredom.

2450y in 45 minutes with a rousing sprint set of 8-25's to top off the night.

Back in the pool after a 1.5 week break due to vacation. I swam once during vacation but took a beating after trying back kicks in an outside pool. I ran into a ladder but it looks like I got into a knife fight. A good 6-7" gouge down my arm. How do you outside swimmers do back work?? Anyway, eased into it tonight for…

Landed at my parents' house yesterday after a straight 17 hr drive. I am going to try to swim at the local pool during 'adult swim'.
-
Swam tonight. Sprints, a 30 min continuous swim, and fin work.
-
I didn't swim over the weekend, but Friday I had a really good swim. 2350y in 45 minutes, 25 sprints, kick on back drills, and the usual warm up/cool down laps. 1 hr.

Frustrating swims lately. My goggles keep immediately fogging up even with spit. They are pretty new too, so needless to say my last 2 swims have been cut short.

I believe my pull buoy was $4.xx on swimoutlet.com

Went with my 10 yr old today. He worked on bilateral breathing and I worked on completing laps as he interrupted me...Needless to say, I didn't get much swimming done. :)
-
Warm up, kick w/fins, 45 minutes continuous swim, and then some 50 sprints thrown in for good measure.

Fresh Thyme is the same company as Sprouts.

It is so hard to decipher reviews of all the watch options. I should just choose one and be done with it.

Finally back in the pool although my lips feel weird! Probably due to whatever chemical they used to blast the algae. Swam 50 minutes.
-
Good luck and have fun!
-
The pool has been shut down for "cleaning" for the last 2 days. Algae build up...
-
I tried something different today. I swam continuous laps for a set time. I actually liked it! Before that I did some back kick/fin work and ended with some 50 sprints.

Got a pretty decent swim in today, about 50 minutes. Did some back kick/fin work and sprints with a decent warm up.
