I did weight watchers & lost 45pounds. I love the program & it's only "diet" that I managed to stick to in my life. I don't track it anymore or follow program but I stick to some principles in order not to get big again. I kept my weight off for 1.5year now. But... I did train as well, regularly.

People used to congratulate me on my pregnancy except I wasn't pregnant, just big belly. Now I get compliments for my abs! Eating right + weight training + cardio. I didn't focus much on abs exercises itself, just a lot core strengthening, body weight workouts.

Feeling healthy Feeling strong Look in the mirror & when I see how far I have come & that my body really looks beautiful My boyfriend who every time sees me has to touch my belly & say I just love your body People around who tells me I inspire them to train & eat better My carnival costume... That excitement to put it on &…

When I was losing weight I was between 1& 2pounds a week. Here & there I would fail, eat bad few days & then fear going back to scale. I would be surprised how I gained back s little. I reached my ideal weight & keep it like that for a year already. I watch what I eat but not that strict. Long time ago I had completely…

Thank you everyone for your replies, I appreciate it. I thought so; whole thing just didn't make sense to me.

Yes I know it doesn't work like that, pick and choose. That's why I came here to ask; double check.... Maybe there is something that I don't already know. I was a bit surprised that this came from my PT... Usually I listen all he says but this didn't sound well
-
Did you lose it fast maybe?

Great change! I'm always impressed with people like you; your strength & determination is incredible! Keep up the good work!!!

You are doing great!!!! 13pounds is a lot for 1 month. Many people dream about that success. Don't quit with gym, its so important for your healt. There is always going to be negative people around but they are minority. Most of people it's not like that, trust me. Be proud of yourself for doing so well with lack of…

It's ok whatever it works for you. I give myself s break once a week & eat something that is on my no-no list. I wont overeat & get Way too much calories, i feel sorry to ruin my progresa but i do need a break from healthy stuff only. Longterm looking its easier to keep going.

You sound like me long time ago. Hated working out & felt really out of my comfort zone there because I had no clue what I'm doing. Not to mention how boring it was. I never managed to stick to it longer than 2 weeks. I decided to get PT, just so I actually have to show up & he made me work hard. Hated every minute of it…

Great story! Congratulation & keep going!

That's the way to go!!!! Happy for you! I did the same... Smaller goals so it doesn't feel like mission impossible or unrealistic! Also we do deserve small celebrations for achievements. It makes you appreciate more how much you have done & not only focus on how much we still have to go. Setting goals I think never ends. I…

When I lost 15kg, I thought that's great!!! I treated myself with bunch of new bras, after all I really needed it! Guess what?! Not even in my dream did I think that I will eventually reach my ideal weight. So.... I'm loaded with too big new bras. Since I had to buy whole new wardrobe & workout clothes, I only got 2 more…

Thank you! I appreciate it! I started with 78kg & it took me a year to lose 22kg. Second pic is 55 or 56kg. Second pic was taken 1.5yr later but I've been like that for sure 6months already. I do have good body shape by nature because in my early 20's I looked exactly the same without entering gym. I had abs just by…

Thank you, thank you! Before was in May 2013- 78kg & after is October 2014 55kg but I must say that weight loss was done in 1 year, since then I just kept my ideal weight with 2-3kg variation up & down. So it's been 22kg/48lbs in 12 months. I work in restaurant, constantly around food so I messed it up along the way few…

That's great! You just reminded me to have some water.... Going to get some! You can write about whatever you want. Big or small, it's still a victory. I like water for example but at work I have unlimited amounts of free soda's. Got hooked up on diet coke. I celebrate each end of shift that I manage to stick to water…

Try to ditch fast food. If u can't do it yet; go for salad. If you like BK a lot, u can get chicken Caesar salad. Just don't use whole dressing package, use it half or 1/3rd.

I live in Caribbean, summer all year long & I'm cold all the time in the evenings. It's redicilous! I have only one long sleeve hoodie, stole it from my sister when I was in Europe but I think I need real jacket for the movies. I wish I can just go to the movies with a blanket but that would look so wrong

OMG! What a fantastic change! Sooner or later everyone hits that wall... When weight loss stops but don't get discouraged by it! You did amaizing job & you will reach that goal! Worst is already behind you! Keep being strong, determinated & never give up! I really admire your change.

Weight training is the best, long term looking. Weight lifting means more muscles, more muscles- increased metabolism which leads to weight loss. Of course that doesn't exclude still watching what you eat & eating healthy. HIIT is also great for weight loss.
-
Great story! Very inspiring & congratulations to both of you! I have a question- what did you do with your old clothes? Did you get rid of it? I did my loss I had to do & reached my ideal weight, look great, feel healthy, strong etc.... It took me 6months just to get them out of my closet. Now I keep them in boxes, 1year…
