yea I've read a few on bodybuilding and a few other sites, but I'm not getting the information I'm looking for. the consensus I'm getting is eat less carbs, but i want something more specific as in .. eating (complex carbs) after workout, or (simple carbs) during x amount of time.. i was hoping someone had a better…

k does anyone have any advice/articles about having insulin levels work in your favour if you don't want to do IF? i snack too often to have IF work for me.

Thanks so much for the replies everyone ☺️

0.8g should be the minimum (multiplied by your weight). This minimum is to ensure that while you losing weight, you are not losing muscle mass. 0.8g is currently what I do. I will increase to 1g when I'm on my maintenance/goal weight.

I'm not sure what it is about pork but I get a headache every time I eat it. Thanks for the suggestion for cottage cheese I will try it as a side to my breakfast

thanks everyone, i hadn't thought about cottage cheese. Do you just eat it straight out the container? I usually eat my ground turkey/ chicken breast but I get tired of it so fast.

thank you !

you have a gorgeous body ! (your avatar) :o Quick q for anyone.. Im 5'6 at about 155 pounds, and I'm not too concerned about weight since i weight train more than cardio. Im currently at about 1770 calories for my deficit (I used a tdee calculator to get this amount, based on my activity level being 3-5 days (i go about 4…

I'm sure someone mentioned this but i think people forget that on a digital scale, you can weigh in grams, and toggle to see the measurement in a different metric. and that is ok too ! lol

oops and sorry i didn't mean to hijack the thread. lol

I have a few questions.. Why is it unlikely to hit 300 calories burned in 15 minutes? I do HIT as well.. and it says i burn say 370 or so and i usually round it down to 300. Though i don't eat back my calories, I keep this as note for reference or goal. So would you say this is possibly highly inaccurate? Also, i know MFP…

I agree! I totally forgot how much calories fats have. I cooked with a tablespoon of olive oil today, about 120 calories! quick calories if you need it, don't forget to log those (I almost did).

Hey, thanks so much for the response ! Im just now noticing the little notification alert, didn't realize there was one . Im aware i can't spot reduce so for now I've picked up a goal of trying to loose about 10 pounds. Its really not much, but I guess because its so small it doesn't seem like much is changing. I…

I manually changed mine as someone else suggested. I followed my TDEE - 20 % and used that as my goal in MFP. From what I've gathered, if your active, don't follow MFP, use ur TDEE minus whatever rate 10-20% for your calorie goal. I chose Scooby calculator as well..

Ok great, thanks so much :)

I thought about trying this. Probably will when I'm maintaing. Just for the times i bloat i will cut out certain things that i know make me bloat when i would like a flat tummy (bikini.. etc) I think what people forget is that sometimes eating junk will get you at your calorie intake faster than eating a whole food meal.…

Yes, i understand, thanks for sharing. Often times I think its a misunderstanding. I really do enjoy everyone sharing the wealth of info but sometimes it seems some forget that they were once learning too.

so much motivation <3 For me, honestly just remembering that i want to be happy doing this forever and not for a short period of time helps. When i thought of loosing weight by XX date, it would worry me more then when i would decide to be healthy for the rest of my life. When you start to understand that your setting…

Why are some people so rude? I watch a lot of the forums and people ask questions innocently, and others will jump in with advice but rudely. Whats the point of that? its not encouraging. Not everyone has scientific back up or claims because most times they are doing online research like everyone else and following what…

Hi, I'm bit confused. Im a female, 5'6 155 pounds, trying to lose 10 pounds roughly. Based on my TDEE on scoobycalcuator, i should be eating at 1856 with my 20% deficit. This is with 3-5 hours of workout per week. I do moderate amount of strength training for legs mostly and arms, back and abs. I don't know how to log that…

Hi, I'm sure this is answered somewhere in the last 48 pages but If someone can direct me or give me some information. I weigh 155 5'6 female. to be honest i like my weight but not my gut. I eat clean(i try) and workout 3-5 a week depending on the circumstances. i believe your advice, I'm following. For the longest time i…
