Just choose whichever has the highest calories and be done with it. You'll drive yourself crazy with all this.

Sedentary.

Same problem. Only 87 earned after 13000+ steps

I sometimes get a heavy feeling in my arms (which I hold almost exactly like you) and I have to shake them out. I think the aggressive angle of the bend limits circulation and what I'm feeling is the precursers to numbness possibly? This leads to my arms feeling tired but I don't have DOMS or any lingering effects from it.…

I just eat to my body's preference and sometimes I go over. The real challenge for me is not letting that become a pattern.

I am feeling the Christmas creep! I want to lose about 5-7 to get back to my "happy weight" but I don't want to go with a set deficit because I think I'm feeling too restricted and I'm rebelling. I'm just going to try to nibble away in chunks of overages. Basically: Stay within my calories (I have been going over pretty…

I've lost, gained and maintained exactly as I should by using my Fitbit (first a flex, now a blaze.) They have both worked great besides the band issue (definitely doesn't hold up too well.) I think that when it comes time to replace the blaze I will try a Garmin just to change it up but I have nothing but love for my…

Tonic has calories, seltzer is what you want. I'd just go with diet soda, I hate it but sometimes you have to make sacrifices for your goals. You could always do a shot on the rocks with some lime. Gin or tequila would be drinkable like this I would think.

I think she means can you set a weight. like can you set the scale to 126 grams and see if it zeros when you add the food? The answer is no. if you want to know what you take out of a container (peanut butter) put the container on the scale, tare, take out what you want and record the amount that is in the negative. If…

I love breakfast but I don't force myself to eat til I'm hungry. I used to do that but it seemed like once I turned on the eating switch it was on. Now I premake and freeze breakfast sandwiches and when I get hungry (usually around 9 or 10) I microwave and eat it. keeps me full until I eat a later lunch around 1 or 2.

Eat food, eat at a deficit, drink more water, exercise if so inclined.

I'm about 10 months into maintenance and I slowed down on the cardio quite a bit around month 5 as I was having a hard time eating enough to keep up. Well I saw about a 7 pound creep so I'm ramping up the intensity and frequency and am chipping that back off :) Don't slow down if you think that you can't eat enough to…

I know that program would never work for me because I would stuff those boxes so full of food I'd way overeat. I'm going to guess that you are eating more than you think. What is your deficit and how are you measuring activity?

frozen brussels sprouts are good in a recipe though. Sauteed in a little bit of evoo or bacon fat with brown sugar and a few bacon bits....mmmmmmm really cuts the bitterness down too.

I often get up at 5 to work out. Work by 7 then when I get out around 4 I head to my second job waitressing. Getting home at 10, shower, bed to get up and do it all over again. Its possible, you just have to want it. 5am will become your YOU time and you will start to enjoy it

My dear you are not logging. Start there. Use a food scale and weigh everything that goes in your mouth.

Have you ruled out medical issues through a doctor? If so the sad truth is that you are likely eating more than you think. It happens. You can gain weight eating all homemade organic food if you eat more than you expend. Do you use a digital food scale to weigh your portions? Accounting for cooking oils, condiments, cream…

Your brain does not analyze your scale weight, that makes no sense. If I allowed my food urges to control my lifestyle I would be morbidly obese. The notion of "set point" takes away accountability for overeating. "Oh, my brain just likes this weight." No, you are overeating. Don't try to separate your brain from you. You…

This is exactly what I've done since switching to desk work from active work. Built more activity in my day so that exercise is an enjoyable bonus not a punishment for all day laziness. Staying active throughout the day makes me want to continue the momentum of movement (laws of motion and all.)

Over estimate everything. If there is an ingredient you are trying to place ask a complimentary question like "oh this sauce is so creamy and delicious! What did you use to get it like this?" That will help you figure out the ingredients. Load up on veggies and salad too!

Set point is a lie people tell themselves to justify obesity. I used to tell myself I was just made to be big. I was lying to protect my fat. Pretty common coping mechanism I think.

I like aldi because its usually quick to shop and there is less riff raff product to sift through to get to what I want. I like the simplicity because I'm an impulse shopper. At aldi I can go in with a list and come out with approximately what I wrote down lol. I do avoid it on peak hours/days though because restocking of…

I did some of the workouts that I borrowed from a friend. They were ok. I've never bothered with the food program because I find it weirdly restrictive and I can stuff a whole lot of food in a little box if it means I get to eat more. I prefer to weigh and log my meals here. Most of the people I know doing 21 day fix…

You sound like you may have had some neck tension while you ran. To conserve energy focus on form over anything else for the moment. Head up and neutral looking ahead (since you're on a track it shouldn't be necessary to watch the ground), shoulders back and down, and chest up. Knees soft, torso bent slightly forward,…

Can you sustain a diet comprised mostly of sandwich thin and peanut butter? That's pretty sad. I'd get bored. Plus peanut butter is a notoriously hard food to eyeball. But to each their own.

I read the OP like February 7th? Time travel is real!!!!

He needs to get over the assumption that any person or women in particular "owe" him "friendliness" which I am taking to mean in this situation: conversation, attention, smiles, eye contact, etc. Also, most women enjoy not being totally lumped together as a single entity who are all unfriendly. Perhaps this has contributed…

Premade and frozen: 12 eggs scrambled, 1 pkg frozen spinach, chopped zucchini, peppers, onions and garlic. Sautee all veggies together and squeeze water out of them in a strainer. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and spray with cooking spray. Mix scrambled eggs and veggies on tray. Bake until set. Cut into squares. Take…

I just look at my weekly average under the nutrition tab but this option is brilliant as well.

You can, but you will log with a start and end time and fitbit will overwrite their data with your entry for that time period. Honestly I don't manually enter any exercise and it has worked out fine. If you want to track exercise via MFP go ahead but as always be skeptical of calorie burns listed on elipticals or…
