Military Diet

I know that is not a EM diet but it seems to work if you don't revert completly back after the three days. Anyone have a trick to stay on track?

Not to do this in first place. It's mostly water weight you lose.

Eat food, eat at a deficit, drink more water, exercise if so inclined.

You're not meant to stay on extremely low calorie diets for long periods. Hence the 3-day limit. You restrict for 3 days - lose a bunch of water weight and then gain it all back when you go back to eating. That's the way these fad diets work. If you want long term sustainability eat at a reasonable calorie deficit and try and get some movement in.

As stated, don't do it in the first place. It is water loss for the most part from eating very low calories.

Of course it "works"......pick out ANY random list of food items. Ensure that each day's total is very low in calories (that's really the only part that is weight loss relevant). Change your fad diets name every few years......this decades version is called the "military diet." Google Cambridge Diet, 3 Day Diet, Fax diet....and so forth.

What @Ready2Rock206 said........very low calories is not something you do 7 days a week, over an extended period. With the garbage in this particular fad diet, days on end would be very unheathly even if it were merely low calorie.

Eat foods you like. Measure portions & log them. This is how you change your eating habits for a lifetime. Afterall losing weight is just the first step.

I thought that this was a VLCD that we weren't allowed to discuss?
