I wonder if eating higher volume will make your stomach grow/stretch over time and actually make you more hungry than before?

I never buy products geared for weight loss. I buy products geared for body building (Whey Isolate, creatine, vitamins, digestive enzymes) and then keep my calories at an appropriate level for meeting my goals. I have brands I like, but I'm never brand loyal. I don't use pills unless I'm sick or in pain. It's all powder…

Or a fog horn for those that can't be timed with shutting car doors.. ;-)
-
lol that was my first thought, as well...oh lordy
-
Thanks to all who helped - and no thanks to those who are just being jerks about it. I have all the information I need. If you want to continue the thread for one reason or another, have at it, but as the OP, I'm out.

This is the most amazing thing I've seen in a long time. Thanks everyone for being willing to share your gainz!!
-
I had planned to just ignore him...sometimes he'll go away if you do that. lol Sometimes...
-
You aren't missing anything. It's true. I'm overly sensitive. ;-) There are just a few I'm not accepting and I didn't know what to do with those still sitting there..I wasn't sure about the mechanics of MFP (if they'd get a "REJECT" notification, what to do if they re-request, etc)....but I figured it out. It wasn't hard.
-
lol okie dokie then ;-) Honestly that's me most days... I joke I can only handle one friend at a time (in real life) and since I'm married, everyone else just has to go...

Topenga

I hate that!! "Wait, I don't even know you, why am I supporting this silliness?" lol I feel like it's the friend collectors who are being rude. You're just a number to them anyway.

Is the "block" feature on the app? On my browser, I don't have it unless they actually send a message. Next request that comes through, I'll check through the app
-
You're cracking me up...I know it's not that interesting. And really the question isn't who to accept, it's what to do with the ones that you aren't accepting. But I think people are giving a lot of good insight to how it works and what to do. For now, I've deleted the "queue" and we'll see where it goes from there...lol
-
Oh I see. I'm sorry, I didn't recognize that was the symptom. I think it's fairly common. Happens all the time with Chinese food (heavy carbs / noodles).
-
I was fine until some jerk hijacked a thread with (what turns out to be) his usual drivel. I felt better when I realized he was just a troll doing his usual trolling. Holy cow those flooding pictures! Yeah, I don't have anything to complain about...at all
-
Super cute Cruiser!! I'll bet any bike shop could tighten that up for you so it won't make noise. Have fun!
-
lol well that's one way, I guess...
-
You didn't say what your symptoms are....but there is most definitely a thing as carb sensitivity - but honestly, if you're feeling sensitive, you're probably not even close to being diabetic (type 2). You might get a blood test. I know if I ate a muffin, I could get very sick from the sugar because I have short gut…

Water weight for sure. I took a diuretic once, and literally peed 5 pounds, overnight... lol I didn't get much sleep. If I ever take a diuretic again, it will be mid-day for sure
-
You're right. Sarcasm is nice.... lol I think it literally means "to cut" Although your sarcasm has never been offensive, and is clearly sarcasm. I never know what someone is really thinking, but you just seem to be having fun
-
...and "ahem" ...MFP, when I have someone "on ignore" it should not show me that they made comments. Ever. They should be totally invisible. Thank you for your consideration lol
-
 My dark side is getting stronger I see
-
Whatever. I just did a scan to see what else you do in these threads...it seems like you like to start trouble, attacking OP's over "non fitness" threads (in chit chat??!), and then throw flags. Have fun with that...I hope it gives you lots of satisfaction. Blah
-
All day every day. you're just generally offensive.
-
What I really learned from this thread? When you're responding to a bully, be sure to "quote" them...so when they flag you, the moderators can see what they posted as well...lol
-
I think I'm starting to get it. Some people just throw friend requests and see what sticks. It probably won't even make it onto anyones radar that they were declined - and I'm really glad that MFP doesn't send rejection notifications. Thats something I wasn't clear on
-
Well, @Cutaway_Collar has deleted his offensive comments and then thrown flags, so this post will likely be gone soon. Thanks to everyone who had some actual input...I appreciate it
-
I highly doubt your'e a crappy friend just because you don't clear out your request box lol...people need to redefine "friend" I think
-
I was on MFP for 2 years before I did any "friending" of any kind - and I was totally unaware of the message boards. It's definitely not necessary to have a friend list. I don't do an open diary so I honestly don't know what the benefit would be of being my MFP friend, but I like to offer support to those who want it
-
Right??? That little number is starting to wear on me, more than the actual requests. lol
