It's a beautiful day here. I'm wearing shorts today. I sold my business and it's such a relief to not have that 24/7 pressure. Next term is going to be great

I worked Christmas eve day and Christmas. It wasn't bad. I tried to make it the best holiday I could for my residents. My family will celebrate on Wednesday.

My mom signed up for the holiday session with us. She's done it in the past but had planned on traveling over summer so didn't join us last term. It looks like we'll have some other previous members coming back too. I feel like it's going to be a good term for Slytherin.

New term starts Friday August 20th. I just bumped the thread about it.

The Hogswarts Challenge is starting again soon. It has challenges relating to exercise, food, and other activities. There aren't any others around like it at this time.

I haven't joined a challenge in over a year but it's time for me to step it up. I'm looking forward to working with all of you again.

We did our Christmas early due to my parents visiting and work. We celebrated on Wednesday and Thursday. Our food was keto cinnamon rolls, prime rib, roasted green beans, cheeses, salami, olives and various goodies. I filled stockings for everyone and we all went to see the new Star Wars Movie, played video and card games…

We had a wonderful day yesterday. I was going to cancel the plans because I had someone call in sick but I managed to find a caregiver to cover it. I took some residents to a historical park for tours of the houses decorated for the holidays in the style of their time. We rode in a tractor pulled tram with a wheelchair…

Done. I did the weekend yoga challenge and walked with the family for an hour. Put down the pie and eat a healthy snack.

I've found that the best day during the holidays to go to an amusement park is the evening before thanksgiving because most people are traveling or preparing for it. Our tradition was to go to the Zoolights at the Columbus zoo that day when we lived close to it and there were never any crowds.

My weekend plans are working, going for a walk, soaking in the hot tub and buying gifts for the residents.

I walked a mile while on a short vacation. Drink a glass of water.

Week 5 complete. 20, 20, 24, 24, 20, 20, 22, 50. The cat is no longer afraid of me doing push-ups and pounces on me while I'm doing them. I'll do the next test in a few days then on to the final week.

Week 5 day 1- 36, 40, 30, 24, 40. I'm glad that it's 8 sets with less reps day 2.

I did 41 pushups on my latest test. I'll try column 3 next week but I really think it'll be too much for me and I'll end up in column 2. I am seeing some difference in my arms. My arms barely flap when I wave now.

Week 4 day 1- 18,22, 16, 16, 25. I'm doing column 2 so it's less pushups than the last day of week 3 but didn't feel easier.

Week 3b day 3- 22, 30, 20, 20, 28. It's getting really hard. I'm going to do column 2 next week for week 4.

Week 3b day 2- 20, 25, 15, 15, 30. I scared the heck out of my poor kitten when he first saw me doing pushups.
