I’ll check them out. Now that I think about it I may have seen people on social media using them. I just hate having to crank the straps down, I don’t ever get it right so one is tighter than the other and feels strange on my wrists, not to mention the thickness of the straps makes it harder for me to hold the bar.

Maybe I’ll lose another 20-30lbs before I buy one. The one with the best reviews and highest stars on amazon said weight limit was 250, lol. I think I’m a littttle too close to the limit to risk it. I envision it snapping shut on me

I saw people use straps for high rep, I still haven’t figured out how to use straps but I’m sure my hands would appreciate it if I did. I will maintain. Surprisingly my health hasn’t suffered all that much although the extra weight does put strain on my joints. Although I’m chunky, the majority of the weight is muscle. I sumo after I squat :) I’m at a 430 squat 350ish sumo (might be higher I can’t remember the last time I Max’d on sumo. I do a lot of hypertrophy so I’ll do like 70-75% of my max for sets of 6 on squats, maybe go for a heavy set of 3 because powerlifter. I just ordered a Shefit. I got a size too big on accident but I still loved the fit and I’m a 36H. VS has the front close ones (the incredible I think?) I loved that one when I was a 34DDD. It has cups that clip together with overlaying fabric zip up. Super comfy.

I am a conventional puller, but I train both conventional and sumo. However, I pull conventional on back day and sumo on leg day. Sumo deadlifts are one of my accessories to squats and I believe it has truly helped my squat.

Back cramps are the worst! On my bench at Battle of the Bay I cramped up on my second attempt so I said eff it and just took my third attempt at my second attempt weight to make sure I got it. I missed Gold in my weight class by 6lbs because of that.
