Girls, I need some suggestions for a killer sports bra. I'm a runner and my current bra cannot keep up with my 36D chest.
What's your favorite sports bra (with links if you can)? Only requirements- its gotta control the girls AND has to still be sexy (not like porn star sexy, just no grandma bras up in here).

    I just ordered a Shefit. I got a size too big on accident but I still loved the fit and I’m a 36H. VS has the front close ones (the incredible I think?) I loved that one when I was a 34DDD. It has cups that clip together with overlaying fabric zip up. Super comfy.

    I love Nike classic swoosh sport bras. But my boobs are not that big so they don't need that much support. On the website Nike has a program to determine the best bra for your size/activities. Had adidas bras before but they didn't held up as well and started to lose form prettg quick.

    Title9sports.com has some great bras and a rating system to let you know each bra’s support level. They carry a lot of Brooks and Moving Comfort, and have some of their own brand. They’re definitely pricey, but high quality.

    Victoria Secret sports bras are my favorite. Some have built in bras for extra support. I'm a D as well and these are the best in my collection

    The VS ones with the cups and then the stretch zippered layer. Best. *kitten*. Ever. I really do credit them with getting me started running.

    On a lesser budget, the cross back moulded front Champion ones at Target are also really great, if a bit of a puzzle to get into if you haven't had coffee yet.

    I'm a 32F, and the only sports bra that I will use is the Shock Absorber - that thing is a tank, and completely immobilizes me, but it's still comfortable.

    Me too. I wear the same size and it keeps everything contained while still allowing me to breathe.

    To the OP: Not to sound patronising, but are you sure about your size? The band size should be very close to your actual ribcage measurement (for instance, mine is 29" so I tend to wear a 30 band, sometimes 32 in sports bras); none of this "add 4-5 inches" nonsense. If you're wearing a 36D sports bra but your "real" size is closer to a 32F, then of course it's not going to provide nearly enough support because the band is what's supportive. I'd suggest measuring your ribcage and bust first (if you haven't already) to get a ballpark figure for your size, and then go from there.

    I second Panache and also recommend Freya sports bras. No bounce, durable, and not too high cut. They come in a wide range of band sizes and cups. I also recommend getting professionally fitted if you haven't done so already.

    i love the nike swoosh bras. they work great for me. i do HIIT/Circuits as well as jumping rope and of course listing. they work perfect for me. i'm a 38DD

    Both! If your ribcage is 33 then start with a 34 band (ideally you want to either go to a store where you can try things on in-person or find somewhere with free returns and order lots). With a bust measurement of 38 then that'd be around a D or DD cup. So it sounds like 36D is actually pretty close for you (unlike me; I was wearing 34C before I got professionally fitted!). Essentially you're looking for something where your boobs are contained (no quadboob!) and the band is parallel to the floor at the back (so it's taut enough to provide support).

    I have a brandname one that just zips up which was super pricey. I don't wear it often, but whenever I do, it's like I'm flirting with fate ("pike up....oh, zip up....carry on").

    I have a Shefit and nothing moves! I bought mine at an expo for a run, pretty entertaining...I tried on a couple of sizes over a shirt in the middle of the Expo since the dressing room was being used, turned around and there was a friend of mine with her phone up and ready to take a picture :smiley:

    42DD here. I wear 3 bras, a regular bra and 2 sport bras. I gave up looking for a good one. They all suck for me.

    I started at a 40G pre-weight loss and bought the strongest sports bra Lane Bryant had to offer. Now I buy the strongest Wacoal sports bra I can find and wear a 34DDD.

    Fiona sports bra. I actually bought it while breastfeeding cause no underwire who would have ever thought a sports bra with no underwire would have he most support?!

    While breastfeeding, my size was a 34 f. And they don't move. Currently a 32-34 dd. And it still holds them in.

    What are "grandma bras" in your opinion, and why do you think that grandmas don't wear sexy bras? Judging much?
