Think about it for a minute. If you were able to handle the number of calories before, then you do not need to re-calculate anything. Recalculating will give you more calories, but not very many. Yep mine does the same. It does a calorie adjustment at the end of the day instead of registering the actual exercise. I ended up disconnecting it and manually entering the exercise

2 stone is about 13kg so you are probably looking at around 20-30 weeks. As for food anything goes, plug in your details into MFP, get the calorie goal, stay at or just below that number and you will lose weight.
