I've just come back today. Back a few years ago I lost 65lbs and got down to my goal. Then I purchased an e-bike as my commute to work vehicle but I got lazy and took it everywhere. Now it's out of commission and I refuse to fix it. Just today I got myself weighed and measured by one of my co-workers (personal trainer) to…

My first piece of advice is buy a food scale. You would be surprised the difference between a cup and 250g. Second, eat what you want. Don't let other people tell you "should you be eating that". You can eat anything you want as long as it fits into your macros, even sweets or junk from time to time. I found for me it kept…

I just sat and read this entire thing. OP has not shown their "face" again. Just to make it more interesting, feel free to add me to your fitbit friends list. https://www.fitbit.com/user/3LVH3Y

LOVE red cabbage in my tossed salads.

I wear mine on my non-dominant wrist by default but when I sleep at night, I put it on my ankle. Gives my wrists a breather and still allows me to track my sleep movement.

I'll join. Been walking since May but still fun. I will be. https://www.fitbit.com/user/3LVH3Y add me.

My response to that : "And?"

I can walk MUCH farther than I used to and I don't get winded or shin splints. I also agree on the temperature... I'm FREEZING all the time. (Bad news, it's October in Canada... do the math :()

We didn't vote in any party. We just voted against the other one.

I weigh twice a week. Once on Monday and again on Thursday. I also use the "Happy Scale" app on my iPad to track my trends and smooth out all the little spikes.

At 10lbs I bought a fit bit (more to prove to myself I would stick with it). At 25lbs I got a hair cut. Still planning on my 35lbs. I'll decide that later.

All my co-workers know and do comment on the loss. But when I have something from the canteen, no comments are made. I think it's a little different for me because 75% of my co-workers are personal trainers since I work in a fitness facility. I get more comments like "you walking outside today or going upstairs to the gym"…

It's those little ups that get me biting my nails. As long as it goes down after a few days I'm happy

Such a nerd here that I run an MMO :P But I'm currently waiting for Blade & Soul to come out. Getting antsy for the CBT of that one. I only do computer games, not so much into console. As for Star Trek I own every episode of TNG, DS9, and Voyager (and the movies). As well as all of the Star Wars movies.

@Plump2FitPanaQT Great job on the loss. We all have those days when nothing seems to satisfy us and my birthday was 2 weeks ago too. Talk about overload. But hey, we're both back on track.

As long as that scale is overall moving downwards.

We've all been there. The important thing is going again. I always think of it as a yield sign instead of a stop sign. Sometimes we just get a week where we don't come first. Part of being a grown up.

Congrats on reaching your goal.

I was in the same boat you are. I was looking at the flex but in the end decided to go with the Charge. My phone is an older model so seeing the stats would be harder. The charge however allows you to see your stats at a glance. I'm not a hardcore exerciser so the HR in the models higher up aren't worth the higher price…

Week 2 Down to 201.9lbs

I already did the tracker when I hit 10lbs lost. I'm thinking new hairstyle & colour when I hit 25 might be my next goal.
-
Small rewards work for me too. At 10lbs lost I bought myself a fitbit Charge. Not sure what my treat will be at 20lbs yet but we'll see.

Hi guys, I'm Heather. I turn 38 next month. I never did lose the baby weight I put on after I had my 3 kids and they are 14, 18 and 19. I just couldn't be bothered but now I'm tired of looking in the mirror and seeing "round" me. I've already dropped 11-12lbs (depending on the time of day). I walk 5 days a week at least…

I'm going to join this  For me it's going to be 2 fold. Nothing over 200cal (if I have calories left for the day) and nothing after 9pm.

 Awesome idea. I would like to join too

It's a rainbow generator found here: http://mpierce.pie2k.com/rainbow_bb_code.html or http://www.stuffbydavid.com/textcolorizer or http://patorjk.com/text-color-fader/ See you can change it from any colour fade.
