I really needed to read these NSVs today. Been feeling kinda blah lately and eating has been less than stellar. And the scale has been very unforgiving lately. So instead of getting down, I'll try to focus on the good. I bought a bike this week. Has to be at least 10 years since I've had or ridden one. And I actually rode…

Was surrounded by delicious food at work yesterday. The guy who made it is an amazing cook. But I had already pre-planned and packed all my meals for the day (11 hour shift and hour + commute). And I stuck with my food. Even though I was getting some pressure to eat the yummy food. And it looked and smelled delicious. I…

Yesterday, I saw someone I haven't seen since the beginning of January. She asked me "Where did you go?" I looked up, rather confused, until I realized that she was looking me up and down. She noticed my weight loss and it felt great!

This is great to read as I was struggling with this same thing during my last TOM. My fiancé said that my PMS has become worse since I've started losing weight. He didn't bring it up until I asked because I knew I was miserable and starving (not actually but you know the feeling). I totally overate like a pig for a few…

Fantastic! Keep it up!

You look incredible! Amazing...just amazing. Thank you for posting!

I'm back! What I mean is, I had a terrible week last week (TOM and possibly BED)....but I caught myself before I slid all the way back down the enormous weight loss hill. I evaluated what was going on, caught myself, held myself accountable, and got right back on track. I know I mostly go on and on about falling off the…

Thanks for posting this. Hopefully it will help me get my lazy butt in gear! You look great!

Congratulations! I hope to be able to say that I am living a quality life with my kiddos someday soon.

This had me laughing out loud too!

Absolutey amazing!

I am soooo using this....although my fiance may find it weird that I'm suddenly yelling at "Ben" all the time....he might think I changed the children's names without letting him know

That is awesome! Congratulations!

Learning more about myself and this journey! I used to be an all or nothing type of gal. I would start out eating very "healthy" but not sustainably. I would make all these crazy meals just for me (as most of my family shies away from the "healthy" stuff). I've finally realized that if I just eat a lighter breakfast and…

This is kind of a big one for me. I want to weigh 170lbs by April 1st. I have ~6.8lbs to get there so I plan on cranking it up on Monday (I have a way better success rate on weekdays because I am on a schedule). Then it will only be 10 more pounds until my pre-pregnancy weight. Granted my children are turning 12 and 7, but…

Thank you for posting such an inspirational story! You are a strong, beautiful woman and that is awesome!

My smaller scrubs are actually accentuating my now smaller body. My fiancé pointed out that I have an hourglass figure again (yay!) And also, possibly TMI, he pointed out that I have lost my second butt cheek!

I went shopping in my closet! I realized that my size 14 jeans were falling down so I was brave enough to try on the 12's. A month or so ago I couldn't pull them up beyond my rather large thighs and rear end. I tried on the 12's and could button them. They were snug but I could wear them (I knew they would loosen up a bit…

Fittng comfortably into my size 12 jeans. After the 14's were falling off on Saturday, I tried on the 12's and I could button them! Just a few more pounds to be completely comfortable. After that, size 10, here I come!

Congrats! You look amazing and I can definitely tell the difference. Keep photos around to remind you of what the mirror just won't tell you ;)

Great work!

@Idle_Moon, haters gonna hate. I think women, like men, come in all shapes and sizes. I think anyone would agree that a strong, confident woman is beautiful, no matter what shape or size. Weight loss is a very personal journey. Only you will know what makes you feel good about you. Please don't let stupid people and their…

I have been stuggling lately. Not sure why but keeping on track just seems rather difficult. My NSV...I'm still here!! I'm still logging (everyday except yesterday), still getting on the scale (not letting myself get way off track), and still reading these great posts for inspiration! Thank you to everyone for posting! And…

To get out of the 190's. Now that I've started weighing myself weekly again, I hope to stay in the game.

@leanjogreen18, thank you. I'm looking into slowing things down and upping my exercise. It's not a race. It took me years to pack on the pounds, it'll take me a while to take them off. @Tacklewasher, thank you very much. I changed my goal to 1 lb a week loss and I now have 1400 calories a day. I will try and stick towards…

Great work! I have been on and off the weight loss wagon for a lot of years. This year, my 35th birthday was approaching and I really started thinking about my health. I did not like being sore all the time because my joints just could not support the amount of weight I was asking them too. I finally figured that if I…

You look awesome and sooo confident! You are definitely an inspiration for someone like me who always feels like hiding. Thank you!
