Thank you. You absolutely CAN!! I doubted I would ever lose. Make small goals and celebrate as you achieve them. My 1st goal was to be under 200lbs. Then it was to be in a single digit size. Now its to maintain. Also taking weekly full body pics REALLY helped. I would wear the same outfit every Thursday and take a picture.…

Thank you so much! It’s a constant struggle. And to think I thought once I lost the weight I’d be good to go. Lol

Thank you. When I’m full calorie counting/ trying to lose my goal should be 1200. However I LOVE food so I work out so I can get more calories. With working out, as long as I stay under 1500, normally I’m good. Some days those calories consists of high nutritional foods and im not hungry. Other days I’ll use calories on…

Thank you. I agree. It’s crazy how people react when they ask me how I lost the weight. Once they hear it was just good old fashion calorie counting, it’s like they immediately check out of the convo. Then they will ask aren’t you hungry... well heck yea but only on the days where I use up my calories on high cal/low…

My first thought after I read what you wrote about fear was- well it’s probably not a healthy motivator buts it’s typically pretty dang successful:). Congrats on your victory of 100lbs! I always thought once the weight was gone, maintaining would be easy. But as you know, not so much. It’s still a struggle and there is a…

Thank you. Life can be hard but I LOVE the saying “find joy in the journey”. It’s what I try to do everyday. There have been a lot of ups and downs but focused on making my health a priority.

It a good and bad feeling when somebody can relate to my story. It lets me know I’m not alone but my heart goes out to those who have experienced extreme lost. Life is hard and a death in the family can send everything into a downward spiral. Thank you for the encouragement.

Thanks, it hasn’t been easy and I fail a lot but as long as we keep trying, right?

Thank you everybody for all the encouraging comments! I debated posting this to the Success Stories category, just because it was more about some of the the things I struggle with vs just posting a happy story about how many pounds I lost. I decided to post because before I started my journey I read tons of success…

I try to not say bad things about my body out loud. I feel that only makes me believe them more. I know my body is a beautiful thing for all that it does for me. It is strong, healthy, given me two children and even when pushed to the max it still performs for me. I hope, my goal is to find love in that. I want to be able…
