I eat some kind of "junk food" at least once daily. It helps keep me sane and I haven't had any issue losing weight.

I live in Ohio and we shop at Walmart. Kroger, Meijer and other stores are too expensive compared to Walmart. Plus it's easier to do a one stop shopping trip for groceries. We used to shop at Aldi, but there are brands that Aldi didn't carry so we had to make two stops. Mayonnaise and Diet Mt Dew are two things I will not…

Probably not, but if you're worried about water weight gain you could always drink more water. For me I have to be over on my sodium by a few hundred mg for water weight gains to appear, but everyone is different.

The food scale will become your best friend. I'm 5'6" 166 lbs and I eat around 1850 calories a day. My activity level is set to active, also. I set MFP to lose 1lb/week and some weeks I've lost more. It's amazing how many more calories you can consume by not weighing everything. It truly takes the guesswork out.

How's your calcium intake? I've found that my cramps aren't as bad if I get my calcium in. I try to eat yogurt at least once a day the week before my period arrives, but I also use almond milk in my cereal and that helps.

Salt and vinegar rice cakes? Oh, I need those in my life. I've never seen such a thing. The closest thing I've found are the Special K Salt & Vinegar cracker chips.

I try to keep my calories in check, but the first few days I tend to be hungrier so I just let my body do what it wants me to do. My calories are still under maintenance, though. I just make sure to move a little more than I typically would.

I have a Zip and I love it. I had been using a cheap pedometer previously and the Fit Bit has been awesome. I've been using mine for a little over a month now and it's been helpful with my weight loss.

I have a tumbler that holds 24 oz of water and I aim to drink 3 of those every day. I use the sugar free powder packets, otherwise there's no way I'd get enough water in. A buy a flavor with caffeine and also non-caffeine flavors to drink later in the day. Usually by the time I leave work at 6 I'm close to being finished…

I tried a few different products when I did low carb. The worst was probably the tomato basil marinara. It was God awful and too sweet. The bbq sauce was okay but too watery. I don't even waste my money on their products anymore. There are so many other products that are cheaper and don't lack the flavor.

Are you consuming a lot of sodium during your cycle? If you are then it's definitely possible to gain that much in water weight. Previously when I didn't watch my sodium I would most definitely gain that much. Now that I keep my sodium in check during TOM I might only gain 1-2 lbs and even lose weight by the time it's…

I wasnt sure if your height was a typo or not. 5'1" instead of 6'1"? I'm 5'6" 165 lbs and I'm set to active, eating 1800 calories a day and still lose weight at a good pace. I average 15-20k steps a day. If your height isn't a typo then I'm willing to bet you can eat the same number of calories (or pretty close to it).

I eat Fiber One Honey Clusters with almond milk, a banana and Greek yogurt for breakfast. Total calories is 420. The yogurt has 7g of fiber and the cereal is 10g. Definitely keeps me full until lunch.

It's been a long time since I've had a regular Mt Dew. Some people say they don't like the after taste. I will say the sugar from regular Dew makes me sick. If I'm given a regular Dew at a restaurant, I immediately know. It will probably taste a little funny initially but you get used to it. 99% of the time, everything I…

Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips. They are freaking delicious. I generally avoid chips because of the few chips per serving, but the tortilla chips actually make it worth the calories. Plus the sodium is pretty low for chips which is a huge plus for me.

I drink two cans of Diet Mt Dew every day and it hasn't prevented me from losing weight. :) Some people think they're bad because of the aspartame. If you google aspartame there's a lot of controversy on it causing cancer. I just shrug it off because apparently everything causes cancer these days.

I had boneless chicken breast with bbq sauce and mashed sweet potato with cinnamon sugar butter. It was delicious!

If I'm mindful of my sodium intake then only 1-2 lbs. Sometimes I've lost weight on my period, too.

A private user feed doesn't necessarily mean their diary is as well. If it says their feed is private, look above that and there should be a little box that says 'view diary'. It would say that next to 'add friend'.

I don't have cheat days. I might occasionally indulge in something I don't normally eat. Once a month I'll get a burrito bowl from Chipotle, but it's not a free for all to eat over my calorie goal.

I love Diet Mt Dew, but I've also been drinking it for years. It's the only diet pop I drink. It doesn't even taste like a diet drink to me anymore. Sometimes I'll grab a Diet Sunkist or A&W Cream Soda but otherwise I'm loyal to my Dew.

In the past I've just used Body Fortress which you can buy at Walmart. It tastes pretty good, but I use almond milk instead of water. The vanilla is really delicious with some almond milk and cinnamon blended together. However, I don't rely on protein powder shakes as something to keep me full because they don't. I could…

A food scale is a must, especially when you don't have as much weight to lose. Once upon a time I was stuck at 172-173 lbs. I could not get the scale to budge no matter what I did. Then I joined MFP and read on here to use a food scale. The weight literally started to melt off. Example being, I would eat every morning what…

I have a Zip and I love it. I've been using mine for almost a month and it's been great. Eventually I'm going to upgrade to a One. I'm kind of toying with the thought of the Charge HR, but I'm just worried it won't be as accurate since all of my activity is step based, and I don't want it to inaccurately count steps.

It's hard to say, but I would guess that much over you'll probably retain water. I keep my sodium under 2300mg and I have no issue with water retention except during TOM. I just try to find alternatives for foods I love that are lower in sodium.

I eat 1800 calories and walk 7-8 miles a day and I have seen steady weight loss. Walking is pretty much my only form of exercise. I started at 185 and now I'm 166 so it has definitely helped me.
-
Everyone is going to be different, but I'm 31 years old, 5'6" 167 lbs and I eat 1700-1800 a day to lose 1lb/week. I'm also set as active, though. MFP actually gives me 1890 but some days I can't eat that much. 1750 is about my average.

From morning to night my weight can fluctuate around 5-7 lbs. But when I weigh myself every morning my weight doesn't really fluctuate. It basically stays the same or goes down. I intentionally keep my sodium in check so no more than 2200mg usually. The only time I might see a water weight gain is during TOM.

There is also 100 calorie Smart Pop kettle corn, so 100 calories per bag. For me personally it's less confusing.

I have an Ozeri scale and I love it. I got it for $10 off Amazon. Before sure to buy one that has the unit button on the top. I made the mistake and my first scale had the unit button on the bottom. It was super annoying since it always defaulted to ounces when you turned it on. I love my Ozeri food scale.
