Amazing, that's what it is! :) It's popcorn that is salty and sweet. It's the only kind of popcorn I eat these days.

I really like the PB2. I tried the Jif powder and that was some nasty stuff right there. I will gladly spend a little bit more money on the PB2. I actually threw the bag of Jif in the trash after only getting 1 serving out of it.

I definitely think relationships can affect weight loss/gain if you let it. I'm a prime example. Before my boyfriend moved in last year I was doing great. I got down to my lowest weight ever since high school (158), then he moved in and my healthy eating pretty much went down the drain and I stopped walking as much. Not to…

If you feel like you're getting aggressive results, then I'd increase your calories. Personally I love food and if I can eat more food and still lose weight, I'm all for it. I'm 5'6" 171 lbs and I eat roughly 1700 calories a day, sometimes up to 1800. Even on that with MFP set to 1.5lbs/week, I can still lose more than…

I have the Zip. It works for me since all I care about are steps, miles and calories burned. Most of my activities are step based (walking and DDR).The wristband models are useless to me since the step count isn't accurate due to hand motions. I'll probably upgrade to the One eventually, but I've been using the Zip for 2…

I'm 5'6" 175 lbs with an active lifestyle and I eat around 1700-1800 calories a day, so it doesn't seem too far fetched that it gives you that kind of a range. Of course, it's also going to depend on your activity level. For a while I was eating around 1300-1400 calories thinking I had to eat that low to lose weight, but I…

600 calories? I can only imagine the tremendous amount of stress you've put on your body by eating so few calories. You don't need to starve yourself. Eat a reasonable amount of calories and just move more to create a deficit. Plain and simple. I used to think it was okay to eat 1200 calories a day (when really, I could…

I just ordered a Zip. I wanted the One, but the Zip is about 30 dollars cheaper. I wanted a Fit Bit to use strictly as a pedometer, so the other styles didn't appeal to me since the steps won't be accurate if you're using your arms and not actually walking. I have a cheap pedometer now and it works great, but I wanted one…

Thanks for the input. I'll change my activity level to active and see what happens over the next few weeks. I won't disagree about eating more food! :D

On average I can lose 3-4 lbs a week eating around 1600 calories a day and it's set to lose 1 lb/week. I don't currently log exercise since I don't know how many calories I'm burning, so I never eat back calories. Most days I walk 8 miles total (including work) and at 5'6" 175 lbs I know I'm probably not burning an…

I did the same thing and I still do except I walk in my apartment in one big circle (through the dining room then into the kitchen and back into the living room). Definitely any increase in activity where you're burning calories is going to be beneficial.

Previously I went from 173 to 155 just by walking and eating less calories than I burned. I averaged 15-18k steps a day, and some days were 20k. So yes, it's definitely doable.

I have a really good recipe for quesadilla quiche when I did low carb which uses eggs. 8 ounces shredded cheese (I use Colby/Monterey Jack) 1/2 cup Rotel tomatoes/green chiles 6 eggs 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 tsp salt Combine cheese and Rotel tomatoes in a greased 9 1/2-10 inch pie plate. In a separate bowl, whisk…

Caffeine. I'm not a very happy person until I've had my caffeine and awake. :D

I'm the same way. I think my poor boyfriend is getting tired of having chicken for dinner every night lol. I like dinners that are easy to make and aren't time consuming. The only time I don't eat the same thing for lunch is on the weekends or if there's left overs I want to eat.

I like Walk Away the Pounds, but some days Leslie really annoys me and I just can't do it. The Biggest Loser Power Walk is a great workout, but don't let the name fool you. It's much harder than WATP. Bob has my butt kicked by mile 3. I'm also a big fan of Turbo Jam. I absolutely adore Chalene. She's encouraging, but not…

I gained back 30 lbs in a span of about 5 months when it took about 6 months to lose it. I got down to my lowest weight since high school which was 158. Then my boyfriend moved in and my routine got thrown off. Then I used the excuse that I couldn't walk in the apartment anymore because the new sectional we bought was too…

I'm also in the boat that I'm a fan of pre-logging. It saves you from being surprised. There were a few times I logged as I ate then soon realized I only had 200 calories left for dinner, and that sucks! With pre-logging I have plenty of time to plan a dinner that falls within my calories.

I remember actually weighing out what I thought was two tablespoons of peanut butter. Turns out I was actually eating 4-5 and I wondered why my weight wouldn't budge.

I weigh and log each individual ingredient. Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, chicken and dressing. It's the best way to ensure you're not going under or over your calories.

I honestly can't say I've ever cooked broccoli any other way besides steam since I buy the steamfresh frozen broccoli. Can you roast raw broccoli?
-
Thanks for all the great ideas. :) I will consider some the next time I eat broccoli.

I am not a morning person AT ALL, so I will never be able to wake up an hour earlier at 5am to exercise. I work out after I get off work and I'm perfectly okay with that since I'm not sacrificing sleep.

I have a free gym in my apartments and I hardly ever use it. I get so bored using traditional gym equipment. I prefer to work out in my apartment along to dvd's. Or even walk in my apartment with music or a TV show on. Everyone is different, though. I'm sure most people in my position would take full advantage of a free…

Mine is open, but I also tend to eat a lot of the same foods. Sometimes there are variations with dinner, though.

I used to weigh daily, but now I weigh every few days. Less stress that way and I don't have to worry about day to day fluctuations. I added strength training into my routine within the past few weeks, and I would feel discouraged if I weighed daily.
