I haven't logged anything in a while but I'll eat Pringles, Cheez-Its, cookies, etc. Eating some junk food helps keep me from feeling like I'm restricting myself from foods I enjoy.

Honestly, my $15 pair of shoes I got from Walmart are more comfortable than almost any shoe (except a particular kind of Asics) I've ever worn. I've had Nikes that I had to buy orthopedic insoles for and my feet still killed. I don't buy shoes just for walking, though I'm on my feet for 9.5 hours at work. The shoes I wear…

I wish I had that problem. Then again, sometimes I eat more calorie dense foods so that fills my calories in. I knocked out 1500 today without a problem. If I know I'm going to be under my goal then I mess with my diary to see what I can eat to get there.

I am going to get a Fitbit One soon, but for right now I'm just using a boring ol' pedometer.

I guess everyone is different, but I'm not sure I'd consider standing in the same spot as very active. I'm a veterinary technician and I'm on my feet all day and usually running around like a mad woman, occasionally sitting down when I'm on the phone. I have mine set to lightly active even though I typically walk 3-4 miles…

I tried some a few weeks ago and they weren't bad. I rinsed them well so I didn't get the fishy taste most people experience, but they had a gummy texture which I wasn't a big fan of.

Same here. I eat anywhere between 1200-1600 since I do calorie cycling and I could definitely eat more on the 1200 days. I'm 5'6" and 159 lbs and it just seems odd when people are taller or weigh more than me struggle to meet their calories. Those people must be eating more than they think.

Also depending on the type of IV fluids they gave, that alone could be cause for water retention. I was hooked up to sodium chloride for a few hours and I literally weighed 8 lbs more the next day. Also, anesthesia can slow things down sometimes in regards to the bowel movement department. I'm sure that alone isn't a…

Awesome! Thank you. I shall try that soon. I've been wanting cottage cheese but the high sodium stops me. In all honesty, it's a little too salty for me, but I still love it. I can't wait to try this.

I had a slice of quesadilla quiche, greek yogurt and a banana. It was super filling.
-
How do you make your own cottage cheese? I love cottage cheese, but it's so freaking high in sodium!

MFP suggested 1300 calories for me to lose 1.5 lbs/week. I didn't feel like that was enough so I increased my calories to 1500 and I'm still losing weight. You might want to try increasing your calories a little and see how your body responds.

No, because I have no idea what size I'll be when I do reach my goal weight. I have 19 lbs left to lose until I reach goal and right now I can fit into a pair of size 9 in juniors. I haven't attempted to try on size 8, but I don't think I'm ready for that size just yet.

I weigh myself daily and I always have. I log my weight every couple days. I don't really see much in the way of fluctuations. For the most part, I tend to lose weight every day, even if it's only .2 lbs. I'm also still trying to find the most calories I can consume and still lose weight, so weighing daily helps me with…

I manually set my calorie goal to 1500 since MFP suggested 1300. I think I'm between lightly active and active, so I'm rolling with 1500 calories and seeing how that goes. I felt so hungry eating 1200-1300.

When I first started my weight loss journey years ago when I was 240 lbs, I'd say I lost about 30, but I can't really remember. I wasn't counting calories or even aware of how many calories I was consuming, though. More recently I started back on my weight loss journey beginning of April and I've lost almost 30 lbs. I…

Blue Diamond Wasabi & Soy almonds. The only time I buy them is in the individual serving pouches, otherwise I can easily eat a whole can or half of a one pound bag. They're too good to only measure out an ounce. I think tortilla chips and salsa con queso would be another for me. I eat bread, cereal and pasta and I haven't…

I use the Tervis tumblers which are 24 ounces and I try to drink 3 of those a day.

I actually have a pedometer and I aim for 15k steps a day and sometimes I'll get closer to 20k. I don't know if it's using my pedometer or the fact that I'm eating at a caloric deficit, but it definitely helps me move more especially on my days off work, and I'm losing weight. I don't enjoy conventional forms of exercise…

In the past I wouldn't. If I ate something that put me over my calorie goal, then I wouldn't post my diary or even log it. I did today because it'll be interesting to see if I can still lose weight even if I go over my calorie goal. I'm also still trying to figure out how many calories I can eat and still lose weight. My…

I eat the Special K Protein and I like it. 1.5 servings is 180 calories and 15g of protein. :) I eat that along with a banana and greek yogurt.
-
I had a salad with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, provolone cheese, diced chicken breast and caesar dressing. It was delicious. :)

5'6", 30 years old SW: 240, but I was 182 when I joined MFP CW: 159.8 as of this morning :D GW: 140

I just do it. I work 7:30-6 during the week and I'm on my feet all day. The last thing I want to do is be on my feet more, but I know it's the best thing for my body and it needs to be done. You just have to figure out what works best for your schedule. I absolutely can not wake up any earlier than I already since I'm not…

I was under my calorie goal (1300) by 150 calories today, but I'm not sweating it. I have days where I just don't want to eat as much and other days I could chew my own arm off. I would say as long as it's not a day to day thing, you should be fine. I've already planned out my meals for tomorrow to see what I could eat…

I have a Taylor scale. I got it for about $25 at Walmart. It measures in 0.2lb increments. I really like it. It's very sturdy and is made of stainless steel. I think it's accurate as long as it's placed on a flat surface. I had to move it from my bathroom to bedroom closet since the ceramic tiling in my bathroom was giving…

Once upon a time I did low carb. Did I get results from it? Definitely. But I reached a point where I found myself binging on carbs because I felt so deprived of them. I would do good for a while, then I'd go on an all out carb fest, which resulted in weight gain. It was a vicious cycle. I used to be one of those people…

I would love a toffee flavor. That would be amazing since anything toffee flavored is good by me. :) I also second the salted caramel.

Arby's has a good salad. It's called the Farmhouse Salad. It's pretty big, but I can't remember how many calories.

I LOVE the Carbmaster yogurt. The cinnamon roll and caramel spice flavors are freaking delicious.
