Hit another major milestone yesterday, down 50 lbs. Happy to finally see that since my weight loss had slowed down significantly over the past 3 weeks.

Awesome job, Amy! Hitting those major milestones is always a great feeling. Even if you do see slight fluctuations from day to day you are still headed in the right direction... towards your goal, which is what matters the most.

I started on the 1000 cal. plan that includes one meal of 4 oz. very lean protein and 1 cup raw or 1/2 cup of cooked veggies. Going to both exercises classes helped me keep my energy up. Going to bed earlier than I was used to (10:00 pm instead of midnight) also helped me avoid late night hunger since my last shake was at 7:30 pm. The extra sleep also helped with the energy level. Down 40 lbs today! I'm surprised at how motivating celebrating these 10-lb milestones has been for me. Its been so much easier to work hard for short-term attainable goals like this and to feel good about achieving consistent healthy progress in the right direction.
