Health is the bottom line, the most important. I want to KNOW I'm healthy (good doctor visits) and FEEL healthy and energetic each day. And everyone in your life benefits when you feel healthy - I know I'm happier, calmer, more resourceful, can be more giving and be more present.

Agree with all comments. My understanding is it's helpful to tune into what degree of hunger you're feeling. Low-level hunger does not have to be answered by extra food. When I have strong hunger, I do eat something, trying to choose well, before my hunger drives me to make a poor choice. I'm learning about mindfulness and…

Tracked. Cooked a couple of recipes from Skinnytaste.com that I can also have the next few days. But I am also working on blending 'clean eating" with ?unclean eating, or whatever the opposite is. Despite getting over a virus-thingie, I took a 15 minute walk, felt good. I suspect taking good care with nutrition and exercise got me back to health much faster.

Tracked & learning. I look at a lot - calcium, fat, salt, fiber, carbs, sugar, because I'm working to get a sense of what really eating healthy for me would be. Had a giant indulgent salad for dinner, yes salads can be indulgent, right? >:)
