That's really not very constructive......

Was a bit disappointed at my weekly weigh in this week as my loss slowed down significantly but instead of feeling sorry for myself and getting a takeaway or something like I would have before, leading to a slippery slope, I have tightened up my logging & macros and kept going! Roll on next week's weigh in!

I'm 5'2 and started this journey at 80kg. Booked a trainer twice a week and he put me on 1500 cals a day! I thought this was high but trusted him - he also gave me macros of 40 / 30 / 30. I've logged consistently for 95 days now, train with trainer twice a week and run 35 mins twice a week (I also eat back some exercise…

Love open diaries, but for some reason it's not letting me send a request to you so feel free to add me! Or anyone with open diaries for that matter! Especially honest ones! :)
-
Fantastic You're hot now!
-
I had a similar experience on holidays back in May and made the decision just like you to get it in hand! 3 months on and I'm 23 pounds lighter and feeling amazing. As Frankiesgirlie said above - make sure you introduce exercise - it's saved me! I love food! :)

Large sharing bags of Tangy cheese doritos smothered in garlic dip........... I haven't been able to have even 1 since starting this journey for fear of just eating the whole bag!

Hello there size 12 jeans!!!! Its been a LONG TIME! ! :)
-
I am wearing clothes I haven't fit into since 2009!!! And gave 2 black bags of fat clothes to the recycling centre!! Never again! :D
-
Unfortunately as I understand it, you can't chose where you lose fat from... it comes off where it wants. All you can do is try to tone the muscles in those areas.
-
Hey Saba, welcome to the madness! :) Good luck with your weight loss Trish
-
My diary is open, my cals are 1500 but you might get some ideas?
-
A few recent ones: - reached last hole on my belt! - jeans I only recently got back into are already very loose! - ran a full mile today (I couldn't run for a minute when I started - did 50 perfect form squats with my trainer's encouragement - I FEEL STRONG!

Voucher for some kind of pamper. A massage or a pedicure or manicure. Something just for her. :)
-
You look amazing, well done. Keep it up! :)
-
Great results!! Well done! You've clearly been committed. :)

"And ... I'm putting some of my big clothes into the bins to go into storage" Don't do this - bin them or donate them! Why would you keep them in storage when you will never need them again! :) Positive thinking!!

LOVE This!!!

Did this a couple of months back. Not worth the money. I lost 8 pounds but no inches. It didn't "kickstart" my weight loss! Best thing I ever did was join gym and start tracking my food. Simple and cheaper!

When you feel like quitting, Remember why you started! "buckle into a roller coaster, and I can't keep up with my friends on the basketball court" Talk to your friend who has lost 60lbs! I'm sure they're there to help you through. And remember this is long term! If you really fancy something - have it!! Then get back on…
-
Thanks both, that's really helpful! Will start that today!
-
will do, guess I'll have to just rest up a couple more days! Thanks

I'm 168lb now so I've a way to go but not massively heavy.... Managed to finish the C25K 2 years ago just before I got pregnant with my little girl so thought getting back into it would be ok Not sure about my foot strike, the girls in the sports store today did a gait analysis and said my feet turned in a bit and I needed…
-
You look absolutely amazing! Did you do strength right from the start? - you are already super toned!!!!
-
Dublin, Ireland

I could have written your post a couple of weeks ago! My little girl is 16 months old and I took action about 6 weeks ago so good luck! Record everything, even the days that don't go so well. It'll come off!
-
Remember why you started in the first place! Think back to a few weeks ago, what made you start? You've lost 6 lbs! That's nearly half a stone! You've done great, don't let it go back on! If you enjoy walking or running, take some time for yourself and go do that to try to get your 'head space' back. Just start recording…

That's incredible! Well done!!
