Welcome!!! You can do it!! Just one step at a time and a trick I use is that no food is off limits. It's easier to keep on track with an 80/20 attitude..80% time is healthy eating but 20% allows for life events such as birthdays, parties, treats etc..the biggest trick is eating, enjoying and then getting right back on the…

Welcome Edward!! Sounds like you have a great attitude!! One thing that helped me was the doctor told me...the way we eat and exercise for diabetes is the way everyone should eat and exercise!!!!You are definitely not alone!!!

I can't take mine that much because I drum through test strips like a maniac and I only get so many per year...now I know what to eat and how my body reacts, I only have to do it once a week or so unless I am sick. It's like being a crack addict...I always want to know..it's reassuring for me... Anyway,feeling great!
