@quilteryoyo "off" season, i get about half. speed demon hasn't shed that much before but this year, she definitely got a wisconsin winter coat daisy was neglected so she has a lot of extra fur. i don't think she was hurtfully neglected, just didn't get regular grooming-her nails are long and i can't clip them right now…

so far slugs haven't been too much of an issue, just a few here and there.

yesterday i took a straight up yesterday. i wanted to run but i needed a day where i didn't NEED to do anything. almost got up and did a couple of miles but i needed a complete rest day. my brain was so busy. so i did stuff around the house-which i've been slacking on. and i went to bed in my running clothes so i just…

keep forgetting to take a picture of these. last year, it was very sad. very little growth. this year it's a happy plant

i've had worse situations from the heat than the cold. i can always add more layers :) in wisconsin

lots of work this weekend. ramps(bulb) and ginger in the weird place behind the shed drove 2 hours and picked up free irises. the car smelled wonderful-lemons and grapes. the white ones have a scent i can't quite put my finger on it. got them in yesterday. will cut them down today and mulch later. peas have a branch to…

looking good @TheMrWobbly sorry, not going to be able to catch up today no run this weekend but bf and i went for a hike. this weekend was stupid busy and had about 2 hours to myself. so at least the hike was nice (which was good because it was the week of my 4 year wedding anniversary) i do wish we were similar runners.…

i didn't even run, maybe it would have been better if i ran but was out for 20 min and came in with 5 mosquito bites walking around the work parking lot.

got a run in for global running day. we had no curfew but i still wanted to be careful. it was warm and humid but i took speed demon anyways. i made her slow down. she wasn't happy. she was especially unhappy with the bars being open and people standing outside and fireworks/gunshots in the distance. it felt pretty good.

one of the main reasons i'd like to fix up my basement is to live down there in summer :P

outside wrote an article and i would think fluids are important. water or otherwise.

looking at that list of ingredients i'm liking the idea of using Skratch even more
-
the recovery versions have milk. the gu/chews have tapioca. but the basic powders are vegan from what i understand of the limitations
-
i really really wish i could get myself into morning running. i just can't do it. idk why. it does increase my hypersomnia which is why i stopped but i was a much more consistent runner when i went in the morning

great news @quilteryoyo good job @pfprimo i have really long toes, high arches, and currently dealing with a thick toenail likely due to eczema, circulation, and trauma @Tramboman
-
ditto and i have to decide is better to run in the area with protesters or better to run in an area with potential looters.

i've got a catawba grape again. planted him 3 years ago. last year, had no leaves, this year it's making an effort
-
i preferred skratch but willing to try tailwind again
-
with the heat coming, i was looking at different hydration options. i was looking at liquid iv but this one looked better, i'll give it a try i wanted skratch and tailwind but they seem expensive so i put them on my christmas list. maybe liquid iv will end up there. i was also considering pedialyte packets

-
@shanaber i love it and wearing it now Available Posting link in spoilers. I'm in the app That's Lake Michigan east of Oak Creek Wi Beautiful but would a trail making kill them?
-
i like it. i charged it last night and got about 30 min out of it. but i did not get the whole yard done. but i let it go pretty wild. got about 3/4s done. but it charges in an hour. so do some, take a break, go again. not super powerful but for basic urban trimming it's not bad. they had more powerful trimmers but this…

i could see maybe this one as it's made of that cooling fabric. i've got a towel and a buff made of that kind of material. honestly. haven't had much oppurtunity to use it thus far.
-
thoughts on running with hats or visors? i never have. run with my hair tied back usually, sometimes a buff, sometimes sunglasses. why do you run with a hat/visor? i don't understand, please enlighten me. am i missing something awesome?

i'm not a huge fan of hostas but do like the mouse ears and fire and ice varieties goings on in my yard
